I think I'm having buyer's remore. I'm really enjoying the PS4, but it looks like the only games I want on PS4 are multiplats, while the XB1 may have exclusives that I want.

Thinking of dumping it on ebay

Why not just return it? Ebay fees, plus PayPal fees, plus shipping fees/hastle, etc.>>>>>> issues than a possible restocking fee.

Well considering multiplatform games generally perform and look better on the PS4 and probably always will...

Anyways, I say return it it. Why did you create a thread for this?

I'd keep it unless you don't have the money for an X1 as well. Also, if you wanted the X1 exclusives, why did you buy a PS4??:txbconfused:

To get feedback.

I'm undecided. Part of me wants to keep it, but I'm not sure what kind of exclusives PS4 is seeing anytime soon.

BJs take consoles after used?
Why not? It's not a game. You may have to pay a restocking fee but they should definitely take it back. I see no issues.

Or how about you buy both with the intention of returning one in the next few weeks?

Btw the second round of launch window exclusives is larger on PS4. If you can't see yourself buying The Show, Driveclub or Infamous Second Son I would hold off.

Several reasons. Cheaper, it's what my cousins play on. Came out first. etc.

I'm not sure if I'm digging XB1 launch exclusives either, but I know come next year, I'm going to want to play Titanfall.

I like the PS4, but all of the troubles with the PS4 online last week, and the ongoing issues with BF4 have me worried that the PS4 will be the "troubled" console.

Pretty silly to return it in less than a week after release...

Just claim it has the BLOD when you return it. Get your money back no questions asked.

Thanks. I'll take a look at some of those.

Sounds like you should wait a few months then make your purchase. It's not always the best idea to be first. You don't win any points. You do this for yourself.

The issues with the update and bf4 are probably just teething pains of the launch. But given I haven't dropped a lot of money on buying one its easy for me to say that.
Titanfall isn't out until March. If that's the first game you really want, just wait for it. You might even get a price drop on the Xbox One by then.

Yeah. Definitely look at second son. That game is going to be a blast. I still hate the look of the grunge throw back main character though.

I hear you with Titanfall, but I know I am going to just buy it for the 360 or the PC (gameplay will be the same). Your average midrange PC is as powerful as either of these consoles.

There was a denial of service attack on EA's BF4 servers that they are recovering from btw, and other platforms are having issues (especially the PC). Leaping from that to predicting that the PS4 itself will be the "troubled console" only 6 days after launch is a bit histrionic and way too premature, don't you think?

Keep it, dude. You already spent the money and its not like you’re going to have any luck finding an XBO right now. I know, I’ve been looking. So just chillax with your PS4, dig deeper into the system and its games and I think you will be happy that you kept the precious. ;)

The bold part threw me compared to your other thoughts. The worry about the troubled console i thought was a stretch. First off you don't even have the X1 launch to compare it too. PSN has been crap this week, i won't sugar coat that. Its not typical of what i saw with the PS3 after years of use. The BF4 part i am not even sure what to say, seems picky to use one game, from the system that came out first , within the first week as a trouble sign.

If you want to sell it, i say sell it. I do think we get so excited for these consoles that anything not perfect can be a bit of a letdown. For example, I have seen X1 videos and cancelled my pre-order this week, after being so excited about it. In the end its your decision. I would wait a week until after the X1 launch, see the lay of the land and then make a final decision.

Yeah, but the PS platform is no stranger to issues in the past (worse performance for multiplats, network issues, hacks, etc).

I'll probably hold on to it, and hope it's just first week jitters I'm having. I want to make sure if I drop $400 bucks on something, that'll it'll be worth it.

I don't judge consoles based on the narrow launch window. I think that's pretty short-sighted. If I choose a console, it's because of the lifetime output of that console, not the first few months' sample.

If offloading the console is what you want to do, I would try some other options besides ebay.

You could maybe try craigslist or simply return it. Selling it on ebay might be somewhat hard at the moment, that site is flooded with consoles and the numbers don't seem to be moving much.

what the fvck list is that for sony, I think you helped the case for xb1 games here on accident, not to mention, MS does not announce games really early usually like sony

In the second wave- Infamous, The Show, Deep Down, Drive Club and a ton of other games. X1 is mainly Titanfall. Sony has a ton of launch window games compared to the X1 (ign list 31 to 6 difference). For me the decision is easy to stick with the PS4 based on the launch window lineup but it might not be for people who really want to play titanfall and cannot play it on the PC.

How does that list help XB1? The only game in that list for XB1 that looks remotely interesting is QB.

How accurate are these lists and what are the time window that you're referring to?

I know of a few games off of the top of my head that aren't on there and some of those games don't have release dates at all.

For instance, you have Sunset Overdrive so I assume you mean just announced exclusives in general, since that game isn't very far into development. Likewise you have The Order listed, which has no release date. Then there are other Xbox One games that are slated for 2014 that aren't listed at all. dat bunk

Using BF4 is quite silly, has DICE ever launched a game without problems? let alone on a new platform. I can get into KZ games with no issues at all so I'm note quite sure PSN is really to blame for BF4's problems, hell the PC version is still having issues. Don't get me wrong they make great games (most of the time) but it usually take a few weeks after launch before they get things sorted out.
