Buyers remorse.....

This graphic is missing MLB The Show and Injustice Ultimate Edition on PS4, and perhaps others. Maybe someone can chime in if anything is missing from the X1 side.

Several reasons. Cheaper, it's what my cousins play on. Came out first. etc.

I'm not sure if I'm digging XB1 launch exclusives either, but I know come next year, I'm going to want to play Titanfall.

I like the PS4, but all of the troubles with the PS4 online last week, and the ongoing issues with BF4 have me worried that the PS4 will be the "troubled" console.

Do you already have a 360? don't forget titanfall is coming out on that console as well and I honestly don't see how it's going to be $500 better on the X1.

That Day 1 digital list for PS4...I'm not seeing quite a few of those games in the Sony Store. Am I missing something? Where is Divekick, Pinball Arcade, Minecraft, Putty Squad, Tiny Brains, Supermotherload?

That's why i'm waiting for the Xbox One. The launch lineup alone is a good enough reason for me to choose the One over the PS4 right now. Plus all my friends are Xbox gamers for the most part. Throw in Live, the best controller, continued achievement progress and the potential of the cloud? Xbox One all day.

They are not out yet. They are launch window games. I plan to get minecraft when that comes out.

OK then, that chart is misleading and I'm pretty sure it's missing a few XB1 games. I'd also ask what constitutes "launch window" because right now a few of those PS4 games may not see the light of day until 2nd qtr 2014.

What constitutes launch window is typically up to six months after launch, some people will go as far as a year.

It not my chart so i cannot state why it was posted containing some clear mistakes. Its missing PS4 games as well.

PS4 does appear to have a large total of launch window games compared to the X1, with some of them being Infamous, Deep Down, The Show, and Drive Club. The majority of that total are indies.

I think I'm having buyer's remore. I'm really enjoying the PS4, but it looks like the only games I want on PS4 are multiplats, while the XB1 may have exclusives that I want.

Thinking of dumping it on ebay

Ah, might as well keep it...there are better games coming. But if you're going to sell it, I recommend Craigslist. Besides all the issues with Ebay already stated, there are over 24,000 PS4 listings on there right now:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...ation+4&_nkw=playstation+4&_sacat=0&_from=R40

How does that list help XB1? The only game in that list for XB1 that looks remotely interesting is QB.

same could be said on the sony side for me, 2 games look interesting, but again MS doesn't reveal exclusives 20 years out either like sony does

Qbert why did you buy a console when you yourself saw no real benefit in buying? Its a bit of hindsight if you ask me. You are kind of screwed now that you have already opened it. If you were a skeptical buyer, you really should have bought from Wal-Mart, return the box filled with rocks, and got a free PS4. ;)

I hear you with Titanfall, but I know I am going to just buy it for the 360 or the PC (gameplay will be the same). Your average midrange PC is as powerful as either of these consoles.

There was a denial of service attack on EA's BF4 servers that they are recovering from btw, and other platforms are having issues (especially the PC). Leaping from that to predicting that the PS4 itself will be the "troubled console" only 6 days after launch is a bit histrionic and way too premature, don't you think?
Oh dude, you of all people crticisng some one else for being histrionic and premature?

PS4 is just hitting it's stride. ;)

I'm surprised that chart is made by ign, it's pretty inaccurate. Not much better than the previous list.

While I will eventually be getting a PS4, it WONT be for the indies... With that said, I wish peeps would stop using indies to make it seem that the PS4 has a plethora of games on the horizon. At a minimum, at least don't compare the lists to make it SEEM like PS4 is getting a bunch of AAA titles. Its just not a fair comparison for the majority of people who just don't care about indies.

I'm pretty sure project spark can make half the games on that list...I find it funny when ps4 guys talk graphics then bring up a list that %75 will have crap indy graphics.

That being said Qbert should keep it and have both systems.

I have always wanted next gen consoles. I don't get why people think that just because I game on pc that I don't also game on consoles.

....and I'm also enjoying the PS4, I'm just a bit nervous and wondering if these issues are a sign of bigger issues, but maybe I'm just over thinking it.

I don't think that you don't want next gen console because you are a PC gamer. I think you don't want one because of how you yourself have openly spoken of the lack of benefit in owning a next gen console at launch. That's all. But I totally get your complaints about online gaming on PS4. Battlefield 4 is a deadzone on PS4, and it's annoying me too.

And to voice my own concerns, I have a bit of my own buyers remorse too. My personal big complaint is that the PS4 is a terrible multimedia home theater console and barely being functional when offline PSN. The PS4 will not recognize an external USB drive with digital media on it. Video purchased from the PSN store cannot be downloaded for offline viewing, streaming only. Your only source of music on the console is Music Unlimited, which is streaming only as well. I cannot view my trophies, view my profile, or even view my captured videos and screenshots offline whatsoever despite it all being stored on my actual PS4 hard drive. And at most all times when not connected to the internet, you will have the message "Connect to the Internet and view the latest information for this application" all over the new UI. This is an online only console in my sincerest view, and it's driving me nuts.

I think you are being too quick too judge. We all knew that the consoles wouldn't blow us away with their exclusives or software at launch.

Both of these consoles are going to be works in progress and both will have plenty of great exclusives and features over the next 2+ years. If you would have returned/given up on the PS3 and Xbox 360 based on their original launch titles, you would be very, very disappointed.

sigh....I never said there was a lack of benefit in owning a next gen console at launch, if anything, I've voiced often how I was kicking myself for not pre-ordering. What I did do is question the cost of next gen consoles if games were going to be scaled back so much.

Keep it. I have mine, played KZ a bit. Sure there's nothing worthwhile for me, but it'll be like last generation. I'll keep it around until there's absolutely nothing I need.

You expressed your opinion on how you didn't find any exclusives too appealing for the launch and on how no multiplatform game was worth the $400-$500 entry fee when the same or better experience was to be had on the PC ports of these games. Isn't that the same thing as a lack of benefit or reason in paying $400 for a next gen console? Why are you trying to be so technical? What you said is what you said. Anways I agree there is considerable reason to feel the PS4 was not worth buying at launch. It's sad to see such a rough draft put out as a finished product and not to mention the lack of exclusive games.

^^Yeah, exactly. Qbert said it wasn't worth paying $400 for a console not presently offering its worth and then bought one anyways. I didn't see what was wrong with asking him why. It's a tad unnecessary to be so defensive over something like this in my opinion.

I personally would keep it because you will need one eventually because there will be an exclusive you want more than likely . Personally I would have gotten X1 for launch and PS4 when the Second Son hits and buy that bundle (Dead Rising 3 and KI would have held me over until Titanfall and Infamous would be all I needed until Destiny hits ) .

But in your case you already bought the Ps4 I say you should keep it and if your only buying one console play Titanfall on PC . I'm sure psn will be smoothed out and now that it is no longer free they will put more into making a better and better over time .
