Offhand about what was the download size if you purchased the disc version? Just wondering if physical gets you anywhere from avoiding a massive download.

Only thing you can do is turn off crossplay, but you still get mouse and keyboard players sometimes.
This is why I didn't buy the game.
They ignore input matching, instead relying on their skill based matchmaking algorithm instead, but that's horribly flawed.
It should be buried in the options somewhere under networking, unless they removed it from the beta.
Maybe they removed it completely? Wouldn't surprise me, they really want to push crossplay. It is terrible because console players really don't need PC players with mouse and keyboard and possibly cheats in their lobbies.
I played a couple matches of MP last night. It looked good and ran smooth on Series X. I’m looking forward to playing this I’ll have a lot of time to play after work this week. Need to level up some guns.
I'm still on the fence. I know it will make me rage, but I know I'll probably play it a ton too. The 6v6 actually seems better than MW, which is what I play most. I'll probably wait for a holiday sale or something.

Then why did we have to pay for a $10 "next gen" upgrade, when it's already out? There may be more next gen enhancements too, I'm not sure. I know it has a FOV slider which is a new thing (although I think any version has that).
From what I hear from the community the game runs pretty terribly even on PC (worse than MW).
I'm still on One X but bought the cross-gen version. Game runs like ass for me. Definitely doesn't feel like solid 60fps. I like the combat in the game more than MW but still Call of Duty at heart. aka game will feel great one minute then the next it's shoot first die first.
Played a bunch of Hardpoint then a few Dom last night. This MP is so much fun. I love that they went more back to the basics of what made COD MP a blast to play. Only two things annoy me first (like every COD) is the sniping. People being able to run and gun with a sniper from the hip to close range is so f***ing stupid when will they ever take that dumb s*** out of COD lol. 2nd the map Satellite, worst map in the game hate it.
I'll probably grab this if I see it on sale for black friday digitally (no way in heck I'm actually going outside).

Yeah it was good fun last night. Switched over to hardcore after you left and was loving it.
Yep, I know. Just wanted to try it out before signing off. Got smashed in a few rounds and dominated in a few rounds. I'm on the fence about which mode I prefer this time around. I thought the TTK in the regular mode was fast enough as it is.
I feel like Core modes play fine in the. Recent COD’s we played more HC modes. I really like these maps. For me the Black Ops series was always on the better side when it came to their maps.
Figured out the crashing problem. I was playing the standard Xbox version and not the Series X version. The Series X version doesn't update probably because of some issue with the game's Smart Delivery. Had to uninstall the entire game to get the Series X version to start downloading. 187 gigs! Luckily it allows you chose your down-able content so I disabled the campaign and zombies and managed to get the download to 100 gigs.
