Can I max out 1080p 60fps for $500 or under?

Finally finished my own PC and installed windows and all that jazz! I went for a white case with blue lights... Bad choice if you're planning to shoot up by the lights of your PC.

It was actually fun building my own PC. Now I just have to return all the stuff that I bought that didn't fit. 120mm fans! Not 140!

No way would I go with amd cpu over intel. Amd gpu is fine, I'd even say 290x better buy than 970. You should really consider building it yourself. 850 would get you better than that if you did it yourself. You can get 970s for 250 new. Building a pc is really simple especially considering you can even find video guides and stuff. Though tbh building a pc is so easy you don't even need that stuff. It's basically all plug and play.

I don't know about America, but part shop for building PC are pretty limited in Germany. I am just lucky I live near one. But did the maths and could get much saving building one on my own here, compare to readily made boxes, so I went with one. Unless you want every specific parts, it's not much more expensive to buy a readily built end one here. Of course I can't say the same in other places.

Since I got my PC, I only add another harddisk as the work I do on PC is storage hungry. I do not particularly like the case, but it's not a big deal for me.
