Or they think PS4 is the better console? It may be as simple as that. I loved 360 but f*** MS they lost me I've no desire for a One. It costs to much and f*** them and their dash broad full of ads f***ing hate it on 360 too. s*** they should pay me to play it with that many ads on my screen.

Dashboard full of ads? I can only assume you're talking about the THREE featured items on the dashboard, considering there is nothing else.

Also, how does it cost too much? You can pick up an X1 w/Titanfall for $450. If you weren't picking up Titanfall, maybe it's still too much and a game you'll never play but if you wanted the game it's a hell of a deal.

I doubt it'll mean much or even last in the long run since there are more prospective inFamous owners because of console sales. But it's a little tidbit at the moment.

Well f*** them too for doing it. and don't forking BS about this 3 box BS of ads you damn well know it's ads not god damn info. on each screen on 360 you have 3 small boxes on the lift side of the screen the rest of this s*** is ads. I count 6 ad boxes on my home screen when it loads.

Stop BSing and calling them info boxes cause yeah I need info for a games DLC I don't even own. Hey more power to MS and Sony if gamers don't care but it's still an ad.

Confused I am. Weren't you speaking of the One ? Because if so, there's a SMALL and I do mean SMALL ad that's right between the 3 menu items that doesn't even interfere like the 360 Dash.

But you were directly saying the One's dashboard has ads, which is bullsh!t. Especially if you game on it.

anyway you can show me a pic if they improved it from 360 cause damn I hope that that but really I don't want to see a single ad unless its in the store then show all the ads you want as you know its a store and I'm there to buy stuff.

Meh I tend to talk about 10 or 20 things in a single posts. its like a mystery you got to try and guess WTF I'm talking about. ok find a video ok they changed it all I got to say is I still hate the 3 boxes on the lift but they cleaned it up from the cutler f*** that is the 360 dash so thumbs up to MS for that.

Are you drunk? When did I BS and call anything an info box? Also, unless I misread your post I replied to it sounded like you were referring to the Xbox One dash having tons of ads, when it is a fact that those three boxes are literally the only space an "ad" would be on the main dash.

Maybe you should actually use an Xbox One before you comment further, because those "featured" boxes can have both ads and announcements. Like I wouldn't call a "dashboard preview" a f***ing ad, maybe you would. Either way, to say the OS is covered with it just shows you haven't used it.

my bad think I was thinking of a different debate I had with someone on here was the same topic. anyway I was talking about the 360 dash it's god awful the amount of ads on it is insane but like I said I just looked at a video of the Ones dash it's much better.

The "featured" boxes you see are contextual to the content you have on your machine. So the games YOU own or have demoed. There's one LITTLE ad, shown... and nothing on the Pin side.

You see way more on the XMB/Whatever the fcuk it's called now.

Not really think about it Sony went on record saying they lose money on each PS4 sold. MS said they make money on each One sold. So from a pure company stand point I'm willing to bet MS may have made close to what Sony has with PS4 or even more then Sony has. Now we can sit here and debate numbers all we want but when it comes to a company its not about how many numbers you sold but how cash you're being in.

It would not surprise me if MS has done just as well as Sony or even better.

I fully agree with you on the 360, it's overboard on there. My 360 loads slow as hell sometimes and it only happens when it's connected to the internet so I assume it's because of the ads.

You're right, I never see ads while using Steam, Origin or Battle.net. Damn, I need to throw my consoles away.

X1 dashboard ads? What ads. Pins section = no ads. Main home hub = no ads. I'm not saying there is zero ads in the entire dashboard, but seems like there's so few of them I don't notice. Though I'm confident in the various Store or App tabs there probably is marketing ads.

360 seemed to have ads I remember.... I saw lots of GM vehicle and ScotiaBank ad boxes, but still not that bad.

360 took ads to an entirely different level. As soon as they added Pins though, I pretty much stopped caring.

KZ does suck, worse than the reviews actaully. Knack is ok, Ryse isn't great. Golf game on X1 looks great for me and that is what counts for me.

Still, if I'm paying for a service (ANY service) there should be an option to turn off all ads no matter what they are for.

My Xbox One has a single ad, and it has the word "advertisement" under it. It's a smaller square. My PS4 has ads as well.
