I think in my privacy settings there is a box to check to block ads but I could be wrong

I am with ya.. i don't notice them, they don't bother me. They are a money maker, and thus a necessary evil. Ad's keep sites alive, services flowing, and all that. Without ads, we wouldn't have things that we do now due to the lost revenue.
I never notice ads either. When I go somewhere I focus on where I'm going. Like in the section where it shows your friends' activity, I didn't even notice the ads until Pravus pointed it out.
I only noticed the PS4 ones recently since it's a new thing for PS+.

Although I am not the biggest fan of ads, they are a fact of life. Those ads, as minimal as they are, are paid for and any revenue that the company can make that is not directly from gamers is OK with me.Yeah, too bad there isn't a platform to game on where ads are not an issue.
Something with more power and versatility would be even better.

What's wrong with ads anyway? I mean, think of the guy who might save 15% on his car insurance when he sees a Geico ad or something. Microsoft is looking out for people while delivering the best gaming experience on the planet. They deserve an award for all they do.
Origin, Steam and Battle.net through their hubs have ads at times. Admittedly it's been a few months since logging in, but I doubt much has changed.
