I notice them on 360, but never cared. I never complained about ads, must have me confused with someone else.

Except! The cut/uncut wang debate. It's really quite embarrassing to see the lengths (stifle yaself) people will go to defend their...side.
I must say that I might get the ps4 for just FFXIV only because I love that game and its upset that its not on Xbox one....yet.
But far as dashboard goes I think to be honest SONY did a far better job on the PS4 then PS3. Also in the hardware department.
But again SONY already have their hardware out just like MS. That is something they both can't upgrade because its complete. Now software is another story we history have shown us that MS can keep going with this and work circles around SONY and all of you guys know it too so I don't want to hear that sh*t.
As time goes this is where MS beats SONY in every way when it comes to software and new dashboard upgrade. Think about this.

Sony did invest insufficent into software side of things in the past, playing catching up for large part of last gen. But I think in the past few years to current, they have beefed up significantly in sofware side of things, & the results show. They are not far behind, or even on par with MS. There PS4 development tools have been praise by developers, the UI are generally well recieved.
The advantages MS had in the past in software side of things will not be significent this gen. Yes Sony do not have million of developers as MS, but not all of these developers are working on XBOX, & Sony only need to hire in hundreds, or maybe low thousand, but the best people for software work on PS4.

Shouldn't X1 dash be faster? 360 became a bloatfest and slow as hell.
That said a comparison between PS3 and PS4 would be unfair since I don't even know what to call the slowness of the PS3.

A couple of those things on X1 side could have been sped up by using Kinect though.
well topdawg must come back into the thread and say he was wrong. I was thinking the Ones dash was like the 360 dash or close to it full of an insane amount of ads. MS looks to have done a good job and cleaned it up the Ones UI so it does not have as near as many ads as 360 and is not a cluster f***. PS4 looks to have upped the ad placement in their interface so that makes me sad

Maybe its just me but to anyone else does it seem like forever when you click your profile on 360 and it logs in and loads the dash? I seem to remember it being a lot faster back in the day now it seems to take way longer then it used too.
