Day One Plans?

so what are your plans for Xbox one launch?

Ill be heading down to the Midnight launch at EB, got Fri and Sat off work.

Have Day 1 Edition on pre order (inc FIFA 14), will be picking up Forza LE with either Watch Dogs or Dead Rising 3.

If I'm in my new home by then, the wife said I could get a new TV:) 60-70" sounds good. :D
 
I'll be following UPS trucks around that day looking for appropriate sized packages.:grin:

2) Go home and play the hell out of it
 
1st. Calling in with a cough.
2nd. Wait looking out the window like a dog waiting for its master.
3rd. Play till i fall asleep,controller in hand.

wake up around 8:30. Go get some breakfast maybe.

check to see if my xb1 has been delivered to my mail box at my nearby ups store.

If it hasn't, do something legal work for an attorney friend I am working for in California.

When it arrives, go pick it up, set it up, and game on. Probably some imported/craft brewed beer to go with along.

Off work on Friday. Hopefully, receive box. Hook things up. Play DR3 all weekend and still have off the following week prior to Thanksgiving.

I really hope launch goes well, because I'm relying on digital day one purchases.
 
Have a get together with friends and f*** around with Killer Instinct and DR3. Some good ol' cold ones to wash down the pizza.
 
I will be getting a PS4 on launch instead of X1 this time, but either way... Plan on taking that Friday off and maybe Monday as I have a bunch of vacation time to take yet. As long as my pre-order is good to go at Best Buy I'll be going there for the midnight launch.

wow, a lot of you guys getting it delivered. Is it cheaper for you to buy from an online store like Amazon?

No. At least, not for me. It was just my only option left for preordering. Everything else was sold out at the time.
 
honestly dont know yet. Given my lack of success with job hunting I'll probably be refreshing constantly until it is delivered then savor every second of the unboxing and hook up. Then I'll play around menus and finally decide which will be my first game and buy it digitally. Then I'll proceed to play it all day and try out using snap mode and such for tv.

I camped out for like something like 16-20 hours for the 360...

Just easier having it delivered lol.
 
I'll go pick it up when I take a break on the 22nd probably early afternoon, I don't do midnight launches anymore, I'll still get it before you Yanks. :D

Come home, download the update, download Fifa 14, profit.
 
At home waiting for it to arrive which should be on the Thursday coming from Shopto. :D

No tax (theoretically speaking, of course, ahem..) and free release date delivery. Plus, I don't have to set foot into GameStop.
