DF: Last-gen revisited faceoffs.

It's bad enough that it shouldn't have been released in that state. Imagine paying good money for this, actually disgusting they had the gall to ship it.

Sadly publishers are more than happy to release unfinished games now days.

Thanks to Plainview for merging these as requested.

Far Cry 4

This holds up better at least, but the frame rate seems similar to GTA5's

Given the sheer age of the architecture that powers Xbox 360 and PS3, it's remarkable that games like Far Cry 4 are even possible on these machines, yet Ubisoft has managed to translate the same open world environments and gameplay relatively intact, albeit with a raft of major compromises and a heavy reliance on its existing tech. The experience may not shine like it does on the PS4 and Xbox One, but we'd say that if you enjoyed Far Cry 3 on the older consoles, the chances are that you'll get good value from the last-gen versions.

Super disappointed that they haven't done a last-gen revisited face-off for The Evil Within, and by this point I doubt they ever will. Seems like a strange choice to omit from the article series... what a bummer! I can't find any literature out there that definitely sheds light on which last-gen console has the better version. Of course I'll have to assume the 360 does, but as the DF last-gen face-off for DA: Inquisition proved, that's not always a safe assumption. Oh well... :really:

Just go with the 360 version then. Xbox had the better multiplats most of the time. But the PS3 did catch up in the end. I'm sure both versions of The Evil Within are fine on last gen consoles.
