It didn't struggle to maintain 60fps lol and this is a 1st attempt from Rebellions on the PS4.
PS4 has shown it can handle 1080p/60fps the XBO not so much....nice try though.

That said...maybe you didn't read the part where they clearly stated:

What I do find funny is that you conveniently say 'Oh but this is Rebellions first attempt on the PS4' yet in the same breath say '1080p/60fps on the XB1 not so much'.
Why not state that this is Rebellions first foray on both consoles(as far as I know), and since both consoles have handled 1080/60fps before maybe just maybe the dev didn't take full advantage of both systems?

Why try and give pass to the PS4 version and not the Xb1 version?

BF Hardline is not 1080p 60fps on PS4 and certainly not X1.

BTW, I haven't seen an article which says the console versions will be 1080p 60fps, I've seen some questionable gaming site claiming it will be with an article saying from Visceral that the X1 will have parity with PS4, not that PS4 with by 1080p 60fps, just parity with it in which, from what i have seen is another 900p performance in the Beta with a framerate that is not sustaining 60fps.

And I mean s***, all the fanboys before were like, OMGzzzz the consoles are gonna be based of x86 architecture which means it will be easy to develop for and there won't be the learning curve there was with X360 and PS3.............what's the excuse now? The XBO is over 40% weaker is why not so much DUH.
PS4 will pump out some amazing looking games and is indeed a powerful console.
When games like Uncharted 4 come out and match or beat anything available the PC trolling will be ridiculous.

No one here ever said it couldn't pump out amazing looking games, and no one said those games weren't good looking. But they aren't out yet and you also just don't get it. I don't think the sdk will be advantageous for most games that are coming out now will they? I mean look at BF: hardline 1080p and 60fps on x1, but thats because it comes out later I would assume, more time to bump up everything.

It's just an additional 150GFLOPs of power, not sure why people are acting like it's a bunch of new APIs, tools and other things.
