Looking around for answers as to why I couldn't get in and it does seem like the majority of those effected are on PS5. Kotaku is reporting a work around but one they don't suggest players use which is to purchase a $1.99 in-game currency pack. Oddly, you don't need to log into the game to access the Store. Hmmmmm, I wonder why that is.
Fck that, I'm not paying more to be able to play a game I already paid for. I went with the Deluxe Edition which was $90 and that's all they are getting out of me. If you're going to charge for early access at least make sure we get "Early Access".

I heard that you can just find a free PS plus game or something else free to "buy". Check for free themes or something else that might trigger the store.
Yeah, I see that. If you go to PSN through the portal on the title screen of D4 that might work. Its not something I'll be doing though. If I can't get in tonight I'll just request a refund and purchase for Xbox. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get a game I paid for to work.
The funny thing is, I'm not even mad. This type of stuff has become so common in gaming that its almost expected that a game will launch with problems.

I can't believe how expensive some of the "paid" cosmetics in the in game store are. Like $30 to buy a full set of clothes and their associated accessories. Glad I'm not that into cosmetics!
Played several hours last night with some friends. Great looking game and servers had no issues. Only problem is I don't know if I like the necromancer. The minions seem pretty weak ass.
Blizz will make > $500 million each month on these.
Holy moley, Ubi charged $15 a pop for cosmetics for AC: Valhalla which I thought was excessive but dayum $30 is just crazy. I'll stick to whatever gear I get by playing. I'm sure the Whales will pay whatever.
I had issues initially when I tried to sign in at 4pm pacific time, it was that license issue so many others have been having. When I got home from work I had no problem and created two different characters and played them both for a bit. I'm about to play again, hopefully that license issue doesn't pop back up lol.
Highly recommend checking out https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/ for build ideas. I was struggling with the sorcerer until I used this.

This game so far is so f’ing good. Can see myself playing this for years to come. It’s exactly what I wanted in another sequel.
The minions were OP in open beta tests, & crybabies called for nerf, then they got nerfed hard.
Max out passive death defense (under Ultimate), & your minions cannot take more than 45% per hit. Keep them alive.
Otherwise, sacrifice them for solo. Bone spear builds I heard pretty good both leveling & end game.
Game is amazing to play in group. You will have fun with your kids, if they like it.

My first Diablo game. It’s kind of addicting!

Pretty sure this is already my most played game of 2023, my eyes hurt from how much time I've sunk in the last two days. Ironically, even with all that time, I've only completed the first Act. So many side quests, dungeons to explore, and open world activities.

Great to hear everyone enjoying it. It is good to see an AAA game launch go well (PS issues aside). Can't wait to jump in next week.
I went hard at this yesterday (insert that’s what she said joke here). Finished Act 1. Got my Necromancer up to level 40. My favourite battles so far are the Strongholds. They are just excellent battles. Absolute game of the year here

Just wait till you figure out skills you like, find some really good gear, and the battles start to flow it gets so addicting.
I love this open world. No matter where you explore there is always something to do. Had to work today been thinking about the game and where I wanna take my build. Trying to stick with skills that let me use any weapon type.
I'm level 35 still in the first act with zero legendaries.
