That was new to me, thanks for posting. It looked great. Gave me a Horizon social and atmosphere vibe. Though, I hope the point UI was just for the trailer. That was excessive.

Yeah trailers in general don't necessarily depict a good gameplay preview.
It really doesn't look very good though. Again.. just a trailer.. but at 1080p on my 27" monitor it looks like a blotchy mess.
It's been my issue with people praising DC in general.. mostly by way of 300x200 GIFs that completely remove all of the blurryness and low rez texturing that I've seen in the actual 1080p product.. including in person at PAX.
Still super hopeful it will look amazing.. and don't care that much about GFX in general.. gameplay is king.. but it really isn't the looker at this point IMO, that people make it out to be.

Game looks cool! I can't wait! Can't wait to race on a midnight track..last time I was this excited about a game it was when I played halo for the first time

I praise it on the gameplay, not the graphics (which I didn't find that great). The gameplay to me reminds me of PGR. It's an arcade racer, and honestly, NFS and the like are not doing it for me. Driveclub seems to me to be the new PGR. PGR 1 and 2 that is. PGR 4 was a failure to the nth degree IMO and lost it's roots. Driveclub, at least based on what I have seen, will bring back that arcade magic.
A new Syphon Filter will make me get a PS4. Keep the taser in so I can burn the enemies to a crisp.
Yeah like I said, gameplay is king.. that remark was solely about people being wow'd by the graphics by looking at tiny GIFs.
I'm excited for the game's gameplay as well.. although it seems like it's morphing as time goes on. That Trailer looked nothing like what I saw at PAX.
I love outdoor/not track based racers either way.
Yeah it even comes with "style" points.
But yeah I agree with Bunz about the visuals. Something has always seemed a bit off. The environments and lighting look good. I'll probably enjoy the game overall.
