EA Access on Xbox One.

Yeah, they're all good. I'm more of a 2k sports fan but EA's sports games are solid. NBA Live is the worst but i'd play that if i didn't have NBA 2k to play.
I'm not as big of a basketball like you, but for all the hate NBA Live gets NBA Live 08, 09 and 10 didn't seem bad to me. Yeah, NBA 2k played a bit better but to me they seemed pretty close. All the sites make it sound like NBA 2k and NBA Live are a Grand Canyon apart, when it didn't seem so (at least to me).

I don't really play sports games all that much. The most I'll ever play are in the pro wrestling and boxing genres. That said, the last NBA Live game took a serious pounding in the reviews department from what I remember. Still though, every once in a while you get a game that's reviewed badly and you think to yourself, "You know what, I think this game isn't bad at all, dare I say, the opposite?" Happens to me more often than I care to remember.

Yay, PvG!! Does anyone have any issues with saving their game and need for speed? I'll play an hour or two, and then come back the next day and my progress is all gone.

Oh no. I hope this is not EA being EA. $5 a month buys you access to a vault of great games but saves are disabled.

If I already own the disc version, but download the vault version, will I be able to skip putting the disc in?

Plants vs zombies now a vault game
Oh hell muthafukin yes!!! Was waiting for this!!! Now to clone myself and have my doppleganger do my work while I play, play, play!!

Yes. Not sure if you have to completely remove the disc version first though. Just trade in the disc unless you don't plan to pay for EA Access.

Just delete the installed version and it should be good to go.
Agreed.

I had BF4 installed from the disc and sold it months ago.... but still had it installed.

I was hoping I could just do EA Access and instantly have access to BF4 (aside from downloading new updates), but it didn't seem to work. I had to uninstall it and then re-download it as an EA Access freebie and then it worked. Just don't delete the game save data.

Weird. But I guess that's how it is.

Yeah, that's an important. You should just be able to go into the games library and delete the game from there without deleting all the other content, but if done through the storage section, don't press the Y button for game options because that has the option to delete every bit of save content, DLC, and updates associated with the game. Just go into the game, select the standalone game and delete.

Not weird. The Digital version will need DRM. I wonder if old digital versions need uninstalling too?

I don't think you should need to delete anything.

Normally if you don't put the disc in you can go to the store and buy a digital copy to play without having to download anything again.

Try launching PvZ from the Xbox store and see if that lets you?

Correct.

For example I have Forza 5 on disk but during the 'free' weekend I was able to just click and play.

People have said EA Access only makes sense if you're into sports games. Disagree. Best part as it relates to sports is the full demos to see if it's worth getting the newest version. BF4, Peggle 2 and Plants vs Zombies have provided more than 30 dollars worth of value already.

I can confirm, I just click play and I'm good, no uninstall necessary.

I'd say the gap is bigger then that. Last years NBA Live was....not good.

NBA Live 15 is up!
Thanks Ace. Downloading now. Low expectations. Hopefully it's good as it'll give 2k some competition. 2k has really been slacking the last few years...... not surprisingly the same time EA gave up on NBA.

I am interested in Battlefield and Need for Speed. Can I cancel after one month if I decide I don't have time to play these games? I remember cancelling Phantasy Star Online was kind of a pain with Microsoft back in the OG Xbox days..

Yep. Just sign up to pay month by month and then cancel when you want. It is pretty simple to cancel and you can do it online. If I remember - PSO required a phone call.

Tried NBA out last night, liked the player models, game is alright, I just don't like basketball!

Yeah, things are mostly better with that kind of stuff in this day and age. It's funny, I love EAAccess but have barely had a chance to play any of the games. I own NFS Rivals and I've played it only once since FH2 came out for instance. I wouldn't mind going back to Battlefield at some point though.....while I like the changes to CoD in principal, I'm just not enjoying it overall. Hell, maybe I just don't like competitive shooters like I used to. Destiny definitely showed me that I probably enjoy co-op much more at this stage. I'm eager to try out PvZ:GW as well but just haven't been able to find the time...

NBA Live 2015 is now in the vault.
Hasn't been much reason lately to keep my sub and was just thinking about cancelling the other day. It auto renewed before I opted out so I might as well make the most of one more month. Glad I didn't drop $10 on NBA during last weeks sale. Wish we could get some Dragon Age up in the vault.
