Like I said in my post, it is only really a no brainer if the vault games interest you and/or the EA stable of franchises has a lot you want.
From a basic viewpoint of just a new game it really isn't a no brainer. Which is where the disagreement is.

Sure, I guess if the new EA game you were buying interests you, but none in the vault do, and you would rather wait 1-2 weeks for that game at the same price, it is NOT a no-brainer. Thanks for picking that apart.
Its still worth it to try, even if you arent especially interested in any game on the vault, IMO. For $5 a month, you still can at least give any one of those games a whirl to see if they interest you and play them as along as you want, when you want. If after that, you still arent interested in vault games, no harm no foul. You still got more than your monies worth out of it. Not hard to understand.
Yeah, smart play is to pay the $5 for one month to check it out and then if you like go for a year as then it's only $2.50/mo. The vault, 10% off all EA games digitally and early access makes this worth $2.50/mo for me anyway. I've played PvZ:GW over 50 hours, Peggle for 10 or so and got to try out a bunch of other games.
EA Access value is absurdly good. No wonder Sony badmouthed it the same time they were promoting PS Now. Not everyday you see MS, Sony or Nintendo criticize a third party company's products. If anything, they are usually kissing their ass to make them feel good.

Is the 10% off just a one time thing or all games? I've wanted to try this out, especially if Dragon Age shows up, and the 10% off will be nice towards Battlefront.
ok this is just BS seems my live ID is tied to a different origin account so I can't f***ing log into EA Access I want to tie all accounts to a single email and the account I think live is tied too won't let me log in. seems the only way to fix it is call EA and reading they're as unless as s*** when it comes to this issue.

Have you linked your gametag with your origin account? to check, do this...
You can check which accounts are linked to your Origin Account by logging in to the Origin client.
- Login to the Origin client and click “Account and Privacy", located under the Origin option on the menu bar.
- In the “About Me” tag, under “Connected Accounts,” you can see which accounts are linked to your Origin account.
If not, do this to link them.
Note for Next Gen Consoles: Your gamertag or PSN Online ID carries over from Xbox 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4. If you have played any EA game on the last generation of consoles, please make sure you find and use that same account when you play on next gen.
If your Origin Account email address doesn't match your PSN or Xbox email, you can connect them using the steps below:
- Open the Origin client and click the Friends button, then Add a Friend. If you do not have the Origin client installed, you can download Origin for both PC and Mac.

yeah seems to live tag is linked to a different Origin account not the one I got some games I got tied too my PSN accounts are on there. funny thing is I use two emails one for all my gaming and mailing list my live account. So I tried my other email and said forgot my password no email from EA at all. guess I'll have to call them.

Now the next important thing is what is your monthly internet bandwidth? Downloading all the freebies (excl. old FIFA 14 and Madden 25) is probably about 200-300 gb!

My guess, this is just to flesh out their EA Access talk. Hopefully, they will finally announce the pre-paid cards for Gamestop & Game. Then I will finally be able to sub.
yeah I heard that cards would be out at major retailers but it never happened. IMO it be a great idea for them to do so. Also showing EA Access at E3 be smart as you be surprised how many people don't even know about this great subscription.
BF Hardline came out 3 months ago so it's not that.

Reminds me of business meetings with marketing department. A bunch of us non-marketers will speak up and be critical and constructive about what they are doing with the tv ads or packaging.
The response from marketing back to us can sometimes be like..... "Guys, we are all too deep in the products and strategies, you got to think like the average comsumer".
Then we sit back and often respond.... "Oh yeah. You know what? What you're proposing does make sense"
Even within my own company, it's amazing what an employee knows about the products and marketing viewpoint vs. what the typical consumer views are, and how marketing adjusts things to fit the mold.
