Well it is made by the original guys that created Call of Duty. Yes it has features not found in Call of Duty but to completely dismiss the fact that Titanfall borrows from Call of Duty is silly.
Sounds like wishful thinking to me. The PS4 is probably around 7 million sold and the Xbox One is around 5 million sold. How a console with little to no games could be killing a console with better games because of bad PR alone doesn't add up. The Xbox One is in position to take over this race very soon.
The PS4 was already over 7 million sold 3 months ago, it's much more likely to be over 8 million and maybe close to 9 million sold by now.

Japan only really made up about half of Sony's deficit in North America, the rest of it was made up with higher sales in most parts of Europe.

Maybe it's because the X1 has inferior hardware, has inferior multiplatform releases, and was $100 more expensive for 6 months...
How do you account for PS3 doing better than 360, when the PS3 had inferior hardware, inferior multiplatform releases and was most of the time, over $100 more than the 360?
Maybe, just maybe....the PS brand is crazy popular world wide.
PS is popular but it's not really because of its games or features. It's hot because Microsoft stumbled at the starting line and Sony capitalized on it. Not that I can blame them. People say the hardware is inferior but the games certainly don't show it, so that argument was dead before it even began. The best games are on Xbox one, the best features are on Xbox one, Microsoft has been shifting updates like a hand full of aces every month, and they listen to customer feedback and actually apply what is suggested. Not to mention the price drop and kinectless sku, and their involvement with the Xbox community. You couldn't ask for more from a product or an investment. I'm not downplaying the 4's success but Sony got a lucky swing in the beginning and that's Microsoft fault. But the smart money is on the Xbox one this Gen as I really do think it's arguably the best entertainment/gaming and ever made. Sept is just around the corner for me. I can't wait... 
I'm bound to catch flack for my statement but I don't give a chit. Never have. If the Xbox one was any other product with the same games, features, camera, community involvement, price and positive feedback from its fans, everyone here would agree. Every forum dweller here knows it.

Just one point: the PS4's success is not a lucky swing. They went full out on making their debut a success by making the most powerful console out right now along with the best price point. Then they capitalized on what the gamers wanted i.e. no DRM/physical lending, no mandatory camera bundle etc. Make no mistake, this disparity in sales is no mere coincidence.

BTW....the PS4 success has everything to do with both Microsofts' failure and Sony's willingness to cater first and foremost to the gamer from the get go.

That's what I meant. Microsoft stumbled from the gate. But right now, even with the four having powerful hardware, it's not the best nor is it the better. But it's the leader in the console world and I can respect that.
X1 is doing great considering the $100 higher cost, bad PR and that it's been sold in the same 13 countries since the beginning. It wasn't a matter if PS4 would sell more, but by how much. Sony's system is $100 less, had great PR and has sold in about 40 more countries since December, so the fact it's only about 3 million more is amazing.
I think for US NPD, PS4 has sold about 500,000 more..... maybe about 3M vs 2.5M or along those lines? And supply has been ample since the beginning of the year. So using this as a gauge, the difference is not as bad as it seems, since MS has been playing PR and country catch up from day one.

has everything to do with the power for me, its the only reason i've bought all multi-plats this year on PS4.
In Summary, people believe PS4 sold significantly better because
1) PS brand is more popular
2) MS bad PR/Good Sony PR due mainly to DRM
& have no much to do with:
1) A superior hardware at a lower price (the latter for better of 5-6 months)
2) Actively wowing Indies which result in Indies games day one (It would take MS 4-5 months before we see Indies started releasing)
3) Free games for download since day one (It would take MS 4-5 months before we see we have GWG)
4) Much improved development tools (compare to PS3)
5) Ability to launch in more market faster.
6) Much improved UI (compare to PS3)
7) Much improved controller (compare to PS3)
The only thing I give MS so far over PS4 is better quality exclusives, but this itself is subjective.

The problem isn't just the price, but charging a significant extra while having very limited content for it, at launch, & the forseeable future.

This is the mutliplatform section, not the PS forum. It is also just my opinion, even though its not favorable to you and a few others--but really, who cares. I understand fully that it isnt popular to talk positive about the Xbox One, that we are "supposed" to bitch and complain about it versus keeping a favorable out look for the brand, but I really dont give a s*** about trends as Im more inclined to start them then to follow. I already know what Im saying is the truth, because of how you reacted.
You, like a few others do the exact same thing for that other brand but thats okay because thats what all the "cool kids" are doing. Im not interested in what the "cool kids" are doing and as far as Im concerened, those who cant tolerate behavior or opinions that dont aline with their own, should grow up. If someone doesn't own an Xbox One, should their negative opinion on it be invalidated? My point being that you don't have to own a console to form an opinion. This is held over MC's head constantly.
But make no mistake, as the console landscape sits right now, I totally disagree with MC about which is better. I see them as comparable. But the PS4 does have better hardware and a bigger stable of first party studios. Both have and will put out great looking games though.
I feel like Microsoft either badly misjudged the market or totally under estimated Sony. Sony has beaten or matched Microsoft on almost every aspect of the gaming industry. The only thing Microsoft could benefit from big time is if things move to the cloud in the near future.
