Finally beat Melina. She is absolutely one of the hardest bosses I have ever fought in this entire series of games. I reckon she held me up for about 10 or 15 hours as I tried different strategies. Eventually when I did beat her I had 100% health left as well so I think I got a little lucky. Using the Mimic seems to be better than summoning help as well.

I'm at the Elden Beast now. 160 hours of game play and character level is about 168 or so.
160 hours!!!!!

Started as a Prisoner with my second character. Dual wielding a staff and dex based sword. I absolutely destroyed Godrick in my first encounter with him. Think I was only level 15 or something. Magic attacks are f***ing nuts, especially blade buffs.

Funny thing is that is in its weakest state. Terra Magica, Jelly fish shield, Azure's Crown will boost that damage by like +50-70%.

Yeah I've not got round to getting that stuff yet as I got bored farming to get 60 intelligence

I mean this guy would have lasted 5 seconds with that extra stuff

I bought the game today, started it on quality and it looks really choppy so I had to put it on performance. This game really is not a looker at all lol at least not the parts I've seen so far. I only had time to play for about 40 minutes before I had to turn it off but I'll play it more tonight or tomorrow. I'm surprised how choppy it looks at 30fps though, I play most games at 30fps when given the option and they look totally fine to me although yes 60 is always smoother.

It's never totally smooth in the open world on performance either, just something you have to get used to even though I wish that wasn't the case

Rough launch? Where?
Not enough content? Is that a joke?
Silence from the devs? On what?
A Roadmap? For a non live service game that isn't in need of a 12 month fixing period?

Moron.

I am so disappointed you thought that was a serious tweet.

Troll bait. That’s all.

Got azur's crown and the jellyfish shield.

Need to upgrade my strength a lot to wield the latter though lol.

You guys know any good greaves for a mage in the game? I'm still using the astrologers since I have no clue what is good and what's not.

Man, I have not gotten much time to put into this recently. I am at Godrick and had maybe 5-10 attempts and was just starting to feel like I was learning the attacks and stuff and then haven't been able to get back into it. Hopefully tomorrow. I really want to go from dual daggers to dual rapiers but so far all I have is the basic rapier I bought at Roundtable Hold, so daggers it is. I am seeing why bandit isn't a recommended starting class for new players, but this ain't Rainbow Kitty Unicorn Pattycake Adventures so a little more challenge is good.
