I'm on my 2nd Elite controller (I have the Elite 2 Core bought almost a year ago...came in a bundle with a series X). My first OG Elite had bumper issues as well as the rubber grips came unglued over time. Was out of warranty by about 6 months when both happened. I didn't really even use it that often tbh. Now the Core controller has held up better overall and I don't have any button/stick drift, grip issues, etc.....but I do have an issue. The controller disconnects randomly during gameplay. I've already updated it but still same issue. This especially sucks in MP games. Luckily, it has a 1 year warranty and I just got it submitted a few days ago before the warranty expired (the disconnect issue started about 1 month ago). Meanwhile my 20th anniversary "standard" controller is working 100% fine after 2 years with pretty heavy use (by myself and my son)....why do these Elite controllers seem way more finicky and prone to issues? Also, for the higher price, why haven't these controllers transitioned to Hall effect analog sticks?
