Could use a splash of color maybe.
taking way to long
It's strange, my elite felt like a real premium product and I can't really go back to play without paddles now, but my grip is starting to come off and I've had to order a new set of sticks because a small part that attached the stick broke... even had to take the whole controller apart to fix it. Have had 7 x360 controllers and 4 (not including elite) xbox one controllers that still works flawlessly.Hoping it comes out soon, saving warranty for it.
First gen is so cheaply made. Grips fall off and bumpers break.

My grips came off too, but I bought the SCUFF grip replacement and it's been better than ever. I had to buy replacement bumpers too. I have had no problem with the sticks. Now it's all fixed up, Its back to the best ever. Can't go back now. It's strange, my elite felt like a real premium product and I can't really go back to play without paddles now, but my grip is starting to come off and I've had to order a new set of sticks because a small part that attached the stick broke... even had to take the whole controller apart to fix it. Show me the link because mine is coming off.

A bit pricier than I remember, but they are nice.
I also had to get these to replace a broken bumper.

The durability of the controller shocks me, as one- it's expensive, and two- it doesn't feel cheap or poorly put together.
Well, I guess it's put together well, but a couple components just aren't strong enough...
Just make sure you watch a YouTube vid on how so you don't risk hurting it!You da man!
You guys must be gripping the f*** outta your grips. My day one elite is flawless and the grips are like day one.
That said I will buy 2.0 day one of course. They will probably have better grips too!
Hmmm 2.0 gripes, maybe they’ll be “textured, for your pleasure” sorry, had to go there >,<
https://mspoweruser.com/microsoft-patents-new-xbox-controller-with-haptic-braille-output/
Microsoft’s work on enabling disadvantage gamers to play as comfortably as possible isn’t over yet. What started with the awesome programmable Xbox Adaptive Controller is set to continue with a new device that outputs braille.
Microsoft patented the new technology in October 2018, but the documents involving the designs were only made public on May 2nd.
The designs show a standard Xbox One pad that has a braille display attachment on the rear with six paddles extending from the sides. The braille display can show text or audio through braille. This could be used for reading tutorials, menus or livestream chats on apps like Twitch.
They are not entirely blind. They have problems seeing text....braille.... for a game console controller... for the... blind people?
Definitely a major flaw on an otherwise amazing controller. When that happened to mine, I put on some aftermarket grips that work great. The bumpers need to be made of sterner stuff as well. If you've ever replaced them, it's just a thin bit of plastic inside holding them together. They'd better f#@king fix the rubberized grip area, I've had no less than 3 of these things and the rubber grip on the back gets loose and starts peeling away. Always exchanged it for a new one, thank god for replacement plans...
Mine are still solid, day one. I must not play as much as you guys.Definitely a major flaw on an otherwise amazing controller. It's the "Derek Zoolander Controller for Kids Who Don't See Good"...braille.... for a game console controller... for the... blind people?
