You can't compare something like Evolve (Left 4 Dead game style) to a large scale PVP like Titanfall because they are different multiplayer games. For one, the monster is undoubtedly stronger than the humans to balance the scale. In Titanfall, everyone is on equal footing.
As for exclusivity, MS exclusives always were more present on the PC than PS exclusives. That's why many thought PC/PS4 was a good way to get the best of both worlds in many cases. I get how console only owners can say that it's technically a MS console exclusive though.

This game is an a-typical MP game, so I find your reasoning in error. This is more akin to Left for Dead than it is to Call of Duty.Oooooh noooo....this must mean it will be boring as hell. Four players? Freaking Titanfall already only had 6v6, what is this?
Seriously though. Are we gonna see the same kind of crying about this now too? I highly doubt it, for the simple reason that this is multiplatform and Titanfall is Xbox exclusive. I bet it were a lot of Sony fanboys nagging and complaining about Titanfall. As for the article:

Just because you aren't a PC gamer doesn't make it less relevant. Why do you think Quantun Break wasn't announced for the PC? So the X1 could have more appeal. I get where you are coming from but I respectfuly disagree.

More is not always better. I actually enjoy games with a smaller player count for most games except MMOs.
