I liked everything about FarCry 3 except the save system. The save system kind of ruined the game for me.
In open world games, at the end of the night when I'm done playing, I'll usually take my character to the area of the next quest I plan to do, save then log out of the game. This way the next time I play I can get right into the action. Unfortunately the way saves work in this game I'd end up back at a sanctuary and have to make that trip all over again. It's not game breaking by any means and if I were reviewing the game I'd dock it maybe .2-.5 points but it still irritated me enough to stop playing at the time.
I'll definitely get back to it at some point tho as I really LOVED sneaking up and putting arrows in the back of the heads of bad guys.
