It's interesting to look at this compared to say, X-Men Days of Future Past which is essentially Terminators designed to hunt mutants. In some ways, I think this is better at conveying a wide future conflict on a warfare scale.
I’m not thoroughly versed on days of future past as my knowledge comes from the 90’s X-men cartoons lol, but humans are still present right? It’s just mutants being hunted?

There isn’t world wide destruction of major population areas in DoFP like in T2?

There has been destruction, but it's mostly done. It just focuses on the core group of mutants left constantly on the run.

It didn't seem clear if there were still regular humans left or if they're hunted as well since they can have mutant offspring potentially. Or some humans with a dormant "X Factor" might be killed.

I guess one thing that seems odd to me about many Superhero flicks is they don't just blast powers like crazy and constantly the way we see laser blasts flying in this Terminator scene. I guess it's more dramatic to have all Superheroes melee fight.

ROFL this is edited down to the only part that matters, RAMBO gunning down sh!t.

Back in the day, this is how everyone felt the first time they got on the back of the Warthog in HALO.

Another Sci-Fi flick with huge potential and a crew of idiots.

I loved this ship and the interior set design. I feel this movie fumbled by only providing shocks and needed substance behind the 'HELL' dimension or a mythology.
