Must be doing it wrong. You can party with anyone at any level. Just stand next to someone, select them, and invite to party.
Just finished upgrading my graphics card to the GTX 650. Not even close to a top end card but i'm impressed. FFXIV running buttery smooth at a constant 60fps is awesome. I was able to turn up the resolution more. It looks gorgeous. Now i know i'm going to get obsessed with playing this game.
Just reached the 20 lvl Cap ... I hope by some miracle they up to lvl 30 before the Beta ends .... Anyways this is the best HUD Layout for me, Keep as much as possible on the low will give u more view in large battles.
The UI needs adjusting for consoles. All text is generally too small to read comfortably. It's okay when you are up close to a monitor, but on a TV, you need bigger text to read. And we also need bigger markers on the map and mini-map. That's something I've noticed that needs fixing. I hope the FFXIV Beta forums are talking about this because I may be too lazy to voice my input to SE.
The devs released a note on the Beta launcher saying the text will be made bigger in the full game .... Can't wait for this.
I'll definitely be getting it. I'm curious what they'll be offering for server migration, if anything. My character is on Balmung. I haven't played all that much--I have a bunch a jobs leveled between 10-15--because I was waiting for the PS4 version, but I don't have my desire to start over, either, since I started over already from my legacy character.
Balmung is a legacy server right? Apparently you can't transfer Legacy characters to normal servers. So...just start over. Anyway transfer service is 18 bucks.
Trackpad sucks...lol like I can't even figure out what I would use it for.
I love the game though. So awesome, and fun, and just cool to look around. Like I'm having withdrawals.
You can use keyboard and mouse with the game. If you are that kinda fellow.

Well what server have you decided on? If you're all starting over, I recommend starting on . . . Balmung. Yes, Balmung would do quite nicely.
Nice try. but somehow I don't wanna go on a Legacy Server. Won't most of the population be high level master race people.
There was an influx of players when the PS3/PC version came out, plus there were plenty of items and armor available due to the amount of crafters already leveled.
Also, Balmung, as far as I know, is the only "unofficial" RP server. I actually enjoy that stuff. I may leave; I may not. I haven't decided yet.
I am ready for whatever server we get on ..... i miss the game so much already, haven't really been able to play anything else since the beta ended :/

Just some feedback. It isn't bad. I haven't actively RPd in FFXIV yet, I just like being on an RP server. I used to RP in WoW back in the day. Cult of Lycos. Pretty fun. Because more fun than the actual game.
