Anyone know what the robot thing in the sky is in the tweet image? Hinting at something related to the expansion, or is this something that's been in the game that I've never noticed?

It is a gas can/tank thing. They are collectibles in the Hot Wheels expansion.

Looks awesome!

I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. Everything is re-used assets. This isn't much of a departure from regular Horizon. The "New cars" shown thus far are underwhelming.

The tracks seen thus far aren't really Rally tracks, they aren't technical enough. Where are the barely wide enough for a car tracks. They essentially ruined it by catering to others and allowing for normal pack racing on these tracks.

Honestly, if I didn't have the expansion pass(and this is the last time I do buy one) I wouldn't have bothered with either expansion. They have so much they could do and we end up with this rather bland non-rally Rally expansion or a boring gimmicky expansion. Very disappointing.

Fair points, this is definitely far less of a unique area than we've received as the "major" expansion in the last few Horizon's. Hot Wheels was far less enjoyable and unique than the Lego expansion was on the prior game as well, it's probably my least played Horizon expansion of the last 3 games in the series.

That all said, the offroad segments of Horizon have always been far and away my favorite, and what they showed in the stream looked like a lot of fun to me.

But it is supposed to be a Rally experience and it just isn't. Throwing up some corner pics and adding a marshall doesn't create a Rally experience.

Same here. I won't be pre-paying for expansion packs ever again for this series.

Much better than expected and 1000x better than goofy Hot Wheels or Lego crap.
