This thread has jumped the shark. Can't remember why I joined the debate but it's pretty embarrassing now.

If Spencer keeps the Xbox division in this same direction for the entire generation, it'll be a special generation. Anyone outside of Japan questioning the lineup is not even trying to be unbiased.
 
I don't think anyone is bashing the Xbox One lineup

To me, if Microsoft ended X1 support right now it would still be a good generation. They've really killed it on exclusives so far. Spencer turned things around fast. You're still getting Halo, Gears, Fable, and Forza but now there's lots of new and awesome IPs in the works. Rare alone will make this gen special for Xbox. Sea of Thieves looks great, and if they go back to their roots and give us a new Banjo and Conker it's over.

Tell me about it. I tried to add a few pieces of coal to warm this thread up again and it got bombarded with a mob of people and their gas cans. Typical.

Exactly. You can't type out the word Sony in here without people turning into raging XBox victims for some reason.
 
I don't think there's much to add to this thread today but it'll be interesting to keep coming back and re-evaluating MS and Sony's properties this gen. I'm referring to the IPs they own. MS finally seems to have figured it out in regards to games they are publishing. Both their racing franchises are top tier and 343 looks to be going from the doghouse to penthouse with Xbox fans. This is a stark contrast to where they were at the end of last gen and start of this one when all their biggest franchises hit lows, Rare was irrelevant, 343 looked in over their heads, and they hadn't created a new worthwhile IP in a long time. If 343 hits a grand slam with Halo 5 and brings the franchise back to elite status, that's another huge step in the right direction.
 
To be fair, arguing over the internet over trivial issues is a good way to distract from real world issues.
 
Sony is winning so most of you $&@!s better stop with the xbox love...

I have zero fascination with ANY other gamer's gamer tag except his. I am VERY interested in his gaming history on PSN and XBL.
