Official Thread Game of Thrones

Nearly forgot how flats season 3's final scene was. Should have ended on something else at the bit with Danny on their shoulders felt like something from Disney rather than Thrones.

Just wish they had ended it on something else.

I thought that was a pretty good ending. Seems even more fitting now too going by the foreshadow trailer.

Question for you all: Who do you think will end up on the Iron throne ?

I always assumed it would be the mother of dragons, but I also get a feeling that one of the bastards( Gendry, John Snow, maybe Tyrion-all Dwarves are bastards in their fathers eye-) might get it

Pretty sure that The Bastards can't get it.

I want Stannis but get the feeling George will kill him off.

Everything spoiler:

Erm..pretty sure Daenerys will end up on the Iron Throne..she'll either get it on with John Snow or alternatively Snow will sit the Iron Throne and Daenerys will rule across the sea. Hence the 'Ice' (snow) and 'fire' (dragons). Plus..if John Snow isn't the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Ned Stark's sister (not actually his bastard son - the whole 'promise me Ned' secret he swore to her on her deathbed is probably a promise to keep her son safe by pretending he's Ned's bastard) then I'll eat my hat. These are fairly standard theories..not my own...but maybe all the theorising and second guessing will make Martin change his mind and change the ending he actually has/had in mind (if indeed it is as above).

Why can't they ?

Low born and all that. Remember Joffrey has no real claim to being king as he is Jamies son. Doesn't matter that Cersei is queen and if need had simple gone to Robert first then her, the kids and Jamie would all be dead.

Also Jon gave up any names/ chances of being a lord/ owning land as soon as he joined the Watch.

Robert had no right to the throne either, but it didn't stop him. Low Born, High born, Nights watch, is all irrelevant. Anybody can play the Game of thrones and the victorious decides what can and can not be :D

Aerys II Targaryen was Roberts first cousin so Robert already had royal blood in him.

Of course the Targaryen's were not the first Royal family they simply took it with Dragons.

Funny reading the comments. People think the CGI will actually be used in the show.

How would you die if you were in game of thrones? according to this I'd be decapitated.

I got the same as you, decapitated

You’re well-intentioned and loyal to a fault. All you really want is to see justice in the world, but you find that others don’t quite understand you. You work very hard, but unfortunately your efforts never seem to get the attention they deserve. Sadly, this means you’d be killed by a backwards system of justice."

You can be foolishly headstrong and stubborn in your ways. What seems like self-confidence is often a disguise for insecurity, and you find that you act in ways around people that don’t reflect your true self. You’ll give a noble effort, but will die by someone else’s sword.

Death by sword.
