It [Uncharted 4] will win the most goty awards and if it doesn't it easily will be the most awarded exclusive not much competition on that front except maybe Zelda NX.

That's the game I was thinking when I said that.

Along with:
-Dark Souls 3
-Quantum Break
-Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
-Mass Effect: Andromeda

Potential:
-Star Citizen
-Gears 4
-Crackdown 3
-Rockstar Megaton?

Like I said no exclusive save maybe Zelda NX.

Gears 4? Doubt it(wanna be wrong)
QB? nope
Crackdown?nope
DS3?Prob will be my personnel goty but doubtful
ME? Next year release
SC? doubtful

R* game? doubtful
DEMD? nope

It's funny how people claim they want new IP's but then over look Horizon Zero Dawn. Much as I love ND I think Alloy deserves her time in the spotlight.

New IPs are much more of an unknown. Plus with Horizon it is from a dev who isn't the most consistent. I think it could be a candidate though.
 
It is March. This is just a Val has a boner for Uncharted (and PS4) thread. Everyone else will pick something else simply because nobody wants to publicly agree with him.

While I am excited for UC4, I also believe it will be topped before the year concludes. Too many strong titles coming out this year to think otherwise,

Why are you posting like a fool?
I never said UC4 would be my personal GOTY... I said it will very likely end up the GOTY by the majority and if it isn't it will be the most GOTY winning exclusive.
Yup the PS4 gets luv for making the best exclusives from me.
Everyone else where here? Since when does a majority Xbox sites opinion reflect the majority of gamers?:laugh:
 
I think Crackdown is going to be a game changer. Something none of us have seen before on consoles.

The wild card is VR hitting this year and if a killer app for it arrives that creates an entirely newly defined genre for gaming. I am doubtful of this because I think the first year of VR will deliver more tech demo type games than a full fledged Triple A title.

Other considerations are Quantum Break, Cuphead, and No Mans Sky...each of which are in some way delivering completely new experiences for gamers. Most of the other exclusives, UC4 included, are only delivering more of the same albeit prettier...to me that alone is not enough to equate to GotY.

Heaps of people guessed that MGS:V would be GOTY, and how did that work out?

The game was relevant for two weeks, and then Konami had Hideo executed.

None of us know and anything can happen. I am confident in what I said though... Crackdown (if it releases in 2016 won't be a contender) VR well PSVR won't make a 2016 goty contender,QB will lucky if it gets a review average above 80,I have low expectations for No Man's Sky(want it 2 be great though) Cup Head could surprise people but I don't see goty..maybe indie.
 
I have a pretty strong feeling that the GOTY has not been released yet.

I hope Cuphead turns out to be awesome, but I know it won't be GOTY. Maybe for some people, but not by most if not all sites.
