I didn't have any issues.

I was playing Halo and 2042 all weekend on live and never noticed an issue. Now I'm seeing Kotaku scream about a 36 hour outage.

Also I'm 99% sure that your "home" console will always have access to what you bought. The people who run into problems are sharing games across multiple consoles, so yes, your non-home console isn't going to work in this case. Funny how so many articles fail to even bring this up.

Only for people who don't know how to set up their consoles. It works fine for purchased games with the console set as your home console. I only had an issue one time over the weekend attempting to play FH4 online. All of my purchased games worked fine.

Yea my console is set as home and couldn't view the store or anything over the weekend, just played PS instead haha, it was working fine yesterday, just some weird s*** I guess.

Lucky for me I never even knew about it until reading about it.

I've read all sorts of goofy fixes people claim worked. Reset console. Reboot console. Reboot router. Contact MS support. Etc.

Yeah you're right. Its totally acceptable that people couldn't play online or play their digital purchases for a month. Since it was free.
