LOL, IT GETS BETTER!

TRANSLATION: "Ray tracing in GTA V is simply non-existent. I've looked for reflections, shadows, ambient occlusion, global illumination, interiors, car headlights, mirrors, water, puddles... No RT. I have also tried to restart the game in case it was a bug, but no."

Not live till tomorrow. How are all these people playing?

Yeah, but they probably still lowered the resolution, so they met us halfway.

RT is in doors only apparently.

It's hilarious, and at the same time heartbreaking, to think that this company made the best game ever made (RDR2) just a few years ago and now release these jaw dropping "enhanced" editions of old games....

Sorry, but this obviously looks better than it did. It is far from the worst current gen update either. Cyberpunk did very little, Assetto Corsa did very little, Assassins Creed Odyssey did very little.

s***, Dying Light 2 launched a year after these new consoles and is 1080P@60FPS on XSX/Ps5.

This GTA 5 update is better than those.

I only paid $10 for it the other day, the loading times alone are worth the $10 IMO.

GTAO is just dumb. And ugly AF.
I don't get the rules, I tried playing it and every time I entered the game these two guys in a car would pull a drive by on me or run me over so after about 4 times of that happening, I shot their car with a rocket launcher and blew it up and I got some kind of warning.

I have to say that in comparison Fidelity mode looks much better, but honestly we have seen comparable gains for $0 via backwards compatibility.

BC doesn't add extra vegetation, longer draw distances or higher end assets it just raises the resolution and only some games get that. What you get with those games that Xbox gives the extra 4K boost to is just the old game in 4K nothing new, they added a lot of new little things here.

From the videos I saw all the things you just mentioned are very minimally enhanced, if at all, in performance mode. If you are looking to focus on the higher FPS mode we have definitely seen comparable.

The xbox enhancements don't add anything at all, every version of this has something added to it so it's not the same and very few games got that 60fps boost.

Why do you keep saying Xbox enhancements. There are a plethora of 3rd party games with next gen updates that cost $0.

And A LOT of 60fps boosts....FREE. On Xbox at least. They are a premium on PS.

Those are BC boosts, no?

The premiums are for first party studios titles mainly, a lot of third party does free next-gen upgrades too for their games on the PS systems (which I happily buy the PS4 version of so I can then just upgrade for free and save the $10 hehe).

Those too yes.

Does it say enhanced on the storefront? Or I'd it just gta 5? It's confusing. Nothing says remastered. Which one is it? I see premium and I see gta 5?

Edit. Nevermind I found it. Doesn't say enhanced?
