I'd love a decent remaster, or better yet, a remake of the trilogy.

Despite all the backlash and disappointment I'm actually enjoying playing through the game again, but I only played it on the Xbox 360.
If I hadn't bought the Xbox One version I would have considered it but I did and this is isn't a great improvement over that.
The increased framerate makes a massive difference. That alone made it worth it for me...although I paid for it with MS rewards points.
RDR2 still looks stellar on console, next gen would be better for a remaster.
I just want a 60fps patch or something. Then I would look for a cheap used copy.
The last of Us 2, ff7 remake, ghost of Tsushima were better than Valhalla by a tier or two.
Personally FF7 remake was mine.
Did you even finish it? The game was a never ending slog to progress a pretty meh story. It was a beautiful game, and I liked the combat. River raids were cool.

Yes it was a great year to end off the PS4 era with a bang with those quality exclusives.

Since you haven't played RDR2 because of it not being a Sony Exclusive, all of your posts here regarding games quality are moot, sorry.
I haven't played through RDR2 yet. I already said that and it's not because it's not a Sony exclusive. I just haven't gotten around to it yet and I'm waiting for the next gen update, might as well at this point. If I see the physical copy for 9.99 or something I'll pick it up, hoping that it will include the upgrade. But seeing how it's Rockstar and GTAV upgrade needs to be bought, I'm holding my breath on that one.

I found Valhalla to be disappointing, I was really looking forward to it too. It's not bad and I liked it a lot at first but the combat really did start to feel clunky after a while, that's an AC thing though not a valhalla thing. It probably has the most impact to it out of any other AC game when it comes to combat but I wish they'd just speed it up a bit. Valhalla has the worst combat of all the newer AC games (origins, Odyssey), still a great game though, better than Elden Ring for one and I'll guarantee you that 99% of this forum won't finish Elden Ring.
Elden Ring is a lot better than Valhalla. Game got repetitive quick and felt like work more than having fun. ER on another level.

Agreed. I've spent about 65 hours in Elden Ring and not bored yet where I'm basically at the last boss but I'm going to try and beat all the other trophy bosses ones first. I spent 50-55 hrs in Valhalla and the last 17-18 hours of it I was basically speedrunning to finish all the main quests. I didn't even bother with doing the side quests or optional stuff anymore.
Yeah I'm playing Elden Ring now and so far I don't get the hype at all, this almost seems like something the internet made happen vs people actually wanting the game. A couple of people I work with bought it and two of them already quit playing, a lot of people are unaware of how difficult these games are. It's not a good looking game and the gameplay is very average, I'm still just poking around trying to level up my character a bit so I haven't really started on the story (if there is one) yet but we'll see how things go over the next few days. I may end up putting the game on hold until I get a VRR tv later this year, I'm playing on PS5 which is the most stable out of the consoles right now when it comes to performance and it's still all over the place in the performance mode.
Ubisoft needs to do something about the combat in AC, it never feels fast enough or responsive enough, I don't care if it becomes too "arcadey" it just needs to be more fun. Same with the climbing, it needs to move faster even if it seems less realistic because of it.
