Yeah maybe they'll add 2 new characters for DLC, George Zimmerman and Cliven Bundy, of course if they did that I'd rather play as the cops and kill them both over and over again.

If this were a few years ago I'd agree with you but hell I think we should be hearing something about RDR2 in the next year or so. I would love if it they added horses to GTA 5 though.
I would have thought that would be the exact reason why RDR would be preferred. GTA 5 is a very new release and the vast majority of folk would have played it just a few months a go.
Im a have to call BS on this, I have GTAV on PS3 playing on 60" LED and it honestly looks beautiful, maybe frame rate can take a hit once in a while, but I can honestly say it's the best looking game on PS3 when you factor in how large it is.
Still deciding whether I should get this on PS4 or Xbox One as I just recently got PS4 again through a deal and not sure if I will stay with it, trade it for an Xbox One or just sell it.....
100% Honest here I really like PS3 and think it clearly has several years of life left, easily 2-3 years where developers will continue to support it.

I get what you are saying but RDR is complete, no more DLC no more anything and that's not the case with GTAV, there is still single player and MP content that's going to be added.
Fair enough. Although, they need to start adding substance to the MP cause all the meh filler content does nothing for it.
Not sure that they have mentioned FPS. I would expect locked 30FPS though. I doubt they will be hitting 60 with all the enhancements and 1080P.
Nah. RDR was a fantastic game, but it lacked a lot of the features that are standard in GTA titles. In terms of expectations before release and delivering beyond them, RDR was bar none. GTA can't do that.
Has it been confirmed at 1080p? They've been very coy with the details. I expect in typical Rockstar fashion, they'll be silent up until their marketing campaign kicks off.
DF do some really stupid things, and they definitely don't seem unbiased, but identifying the native resolution of a high-quality video of a game isn't too difficult. I'm sure they're right about the trailer being 1080.
Digital Foundry was wrong calling that Far Cry 4 footage 1008p. It actually runs full 1080p on PS4.

That is a little unfair. They never stated it was 1008p. The said the Horizontal was roughly(a number) and they assumed the vertical ratio was similar giving an estimated 1008p. That estimation was also based on non gameplay from the conference trailer. They also preceeded that with the info of the resolution not being being locked and fluctuates build by build. They later updated the article with estimations from a newer build which resulted in a 1080P outcome.
Who knows. I will go ahead an assume a locked 30FPS. If it is higher, awesome. If not then I am not left disappointed.
locked 30 would be an improvement, that's for sure.
Personally, while I am intrigued by this release, but there is no way I can justify buying it again considering I quite thoroughly played through it on 360. Maybe I will pick it up next year when it hits the bargain bin.
