What do you need weapon customization for? It's not COD. You can change colors and stuff. Game is still a beta so perhaps that stuff will be in the full release?

When your MP is free to play you better make sure that carrot is always there.
And it being free is only good for those who weren't going to buy the campaign or sub to gamepass. If you do either of those you got a stripped down game for no benefit.
Yeah, but I would say most don't. I would also say most who do have the BP would continue playing if it wasn't there. It produces revenue, but I don't think it is essential for a F2P if the gameplay is there.
I would say MILLIONS do.

Great gameplay only, will greatly hinder it's growth.
Generic colour swaps I'm talking skins. The armour you never see has all this customisation, including flaming arms and head.
Lets not kid ourselves, this isn't an actual beta. It is a full release with BP, MTs, and achievements.
You could practically get more out of the free part of the battlepass in Fortnite than the paid in Halo.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be improved or isn't important. I just don't think it is as critical due to the massive casual player base that are now involved with this being F2P.
Par for the course with this type of set up. Is it a rip off? Sure. Hence why so few actually buy them.
F2P is great and gives easy access to people who want to try the gameplay out.
Hard to sustain though IMO. Halo might have a chance if they can improve the BP and free BP.
Well the good news is the head of Halo said they too are not happy with the progression and the beta helped with the feedback. They said fixing the progression is why the next season is delayed. It’s a massive undertaking.

Free to play is great for anyone with a little bit of self control who laughs at 10+ dollar microtransactions. What kind of idiot would buy all those skins? What would you do with them all? The people who complain the most are the ones whipping out their credit card each week to buy the latest shiny new thing. It is an FPS game. You don't even see your character other than the stupid little intro.
I didn't buy the BP and am not planning to atm. Having fun with just playing casually with friends.

Yup. The progression in MULTIPLAYER will take MONTHS to get addressed. It won’t happen at release of the final MULTIPLAYER code on December 8th.
