The problem is the Halo team is working on co-op and forge to get those out, not the real "live service" stuff. Hopefully once those big things crank out, they actually start having real seasons. It is still kind of comical that they have 6 month seasons.

The base game is great, they just need to keep adding to it. The gameplay is the most fun I've had in Halo MP since probably Halo 3.

Plus the whole battle royale (tatanka) game mode that has also been widely rumored, which is a whole other animal.

I would think it would still require a massive amount of coordination and cross-team cooperation.

True, especially since it’s a “new engine”. But they do have experience working with them since the start, of both 343 and Bungie (Bethesda and activision too)

I think I'm done with mainline Halo. None of it since Reach has held my attention. Wars 1 and 2 were great but Halo 4,5 and Infinite have left me unimpressed. Series may not be for me any more and that's ok.

I was done with Halo after 4 got 5 but that didn't bring me back.
Played Infinite during the beta phases and than the *retail release.
It does what I need in multiplayer to get my attention but it lacks content.

So I still have Infinite installed but it justs sits there.
Maybe November gets things right/health amounts of content?

Oh oh and with coop releasing I might play that soon.

This plus other MS IPs need multiple studios working on different genre games. Get the feeling we won't see another HW anytime soon but get someone working on a 3rd person game.
If they ever make an ODST2 I would prefer it to be 3rd person.
