Makes me wonder if they just decided to wait till the RT patch is ready. That should make a huge difference. They were originally going to patch it post-launch, so there is that. Still, regardless of my eagerness to play it despite the admittedly less than impressive (for a AA next gen game, anyway) visuals, I won't cry over a facelift, lol. I was already stressing that and Cyberpunk coming out so close to each other. That is always what you say all the way up until you delay and at the end of the day them being willing to delay is still a better sign then them being willing to put it out regardless of what state it is in because its a launch title.
But its hard to see how they couldn't have seen any of these issues previous to showing it off to the public so that's the head scratcher to me.

sameSame. I’m happy they are delaying if they feel the need to. I was planning on upgrading my whole home entertainment system this Fall, but now I don’t really see a reason to get either system at launch. Maybe if I already had a 4k tv, but I’m still holding out to see what they show early next year.
This will be the first time ever that I don’t get a new system at launch. Weird!
I don't want this thread to go off track, but which PS5 game has you sold for launch? I'm thinking about finally getting a PC, but it seems a bit expensive for the equivalent power of these. Thanks for the heads up on the delay.
This cements it, I'll be on the hunt for a PS5 and wait for XSX. Don't get me wrong, if I can't get a PS5 on launch then I'll have no choice but to go after a XSX but there is no game on XSX that I want on launch that I can't get on PS5. Unless I'm not remembering something else that's going to be on XSX that I can't play on PS5. Its a shame the devs MSFT purchased were not able to get something ready for launch of the XSX. But I'm sure the wait will be worth it.
Also, I'm confident this delay is directly related to the negativity surrounding the Halo Infinite reveal.
I am legitimately shocked. What's going to launch on the Series X then? Gears 5 better look incredible.
Neither have a great launch lineup. I’ll probably get both at launch, but it’ll be a while before either really shine.I don't want this thread to go off track, but which PS5 game has you sold for launch? The delay is likely a good call, but it still doesn’t alleviate my concerns that their development is too driven by vocal community members and other outside influences, and not by vision associated with their game design. I am concerned this project has suffered from a lack of focus and instability.
And it will end up better which is a win.Good call? I think this COVID is a scapegoat on their poor development. This game was in development for 5 years and this is the 5th year to get this game ready for launch and the demo just showed us DogSh!t graphics. First of all, those who were asking for that Halo original art style need to STFU because as you can see it look like crap. Also, what the hell they did the last 4 years?
They f*** this up with that crappy art style and they got burned for it, after this Halo 343 needs to be let go and everyone else beside O'Conner and get new blood in there.
Yes, because whether or not they listen to vocal community members can be distilled down to that one singular issue. If they listened to vocal community members, sprint wouldn't be in the game.
I sure believe this LOL
He bleeds blue. What else would he say?
