Have you ever bought a console for just one game?

No way.

I wouldn't buy a system unless there were lots of good games I was interested. I only even buy one of either PS or Xbox, never both. Too many good games on either and I don't have the time for anything else.
 
Yes. I bought the original xbox because it was getting the original buffy game.
 
I got a SNES as soon as Contra III launched. Though I knew more great games were coming soon (SF II), Contra III and Castlevania IV were the main reasons I got it. I'm pretty sure my SNES library started as...

- SNES came with Super Mario
- Got Contra III
- Got Castlevania IV a week later
- I forget after that what came next
