Apparently Amazon re-reviewed the site and had this to say.....

At this time, we have decided that your site does not yet present a mutually beneficial business opportunity, and therefore decided not to approve your application to become an Amazon Associate.

I'm gonna contact them tomorrow and see what the deal is. It's a generic denial letter and they need to give me specifics as to why it was denied.

Tell them Zack said it was cool. I'm one of their biggest customers.

another Prime member checking in, tell them to hook it up... OR ELSE

I need to do more of dis.....

We want an Associate site to be one that adds a value to the customer experience by giving them insight on a subject or product they might not get by going straight to Amazon.com. A web site needs to show content that exemplifies these components when we evaluate your application.

I wonder if this will help when I reapply.....

Nice. Looks like a test run of a possible front page. That'd be cool to get up and running eventually. I'm sure we could find some blowhards to contribute some game reviews.

Wow that looks awesome man.

How are you able to do that? Or is that just a mock up you threw together?

Will I be able to put my casserole recipes on the front page?

That's fun to think about -- making it into a full-fledged site. I could contribute reviews or maybe opinion pieces, and I'm sure a dozen or so other people could do the same. We've got A7MAD and others who could gather news. Maybe we could get an interview or two with some developers, who knows.

I think it's part of the long-term plan. I think Plainview wants to get the forum settled first, then expand things gradually, testing the server capacity along the way to make sure we don't bite off more than we can chew.

awe what, that's messed up... i was gonna say "if that's the case then im going back to walmarts site" but then i remember what ive been through with them and um yeah >.<

I was wondering where the thread went. Until I found this. Now I see. Please keep us posted about what Amazon.com said about that. I'm surprised they think it's not enough. Hopefully, they'll re-consider the offers.

Good looking preview of front page

Would be cool to let any members contribute reviews/opinion pieces/anything really. It would of course need to be approved by the staff before it makes it up, but it would definitely make it feel more like a community run site than just another IGN knock off.
