Grubb says HIFI Rush didn't sell well at 22:25-24:50
and from 29:38-30:25 says Xbox management is unhappy about the state of Xbox right now.

I was not under the impression Tango was unhappy about the numbers.

Coulda swore many, including Phil, from Xbox were pleased with how it sold. Maybe if there’s a sequel they’ll throw in more. It was the producers first game tho.

Same but maybe that was for the positive momentum ? 🤔

They did say that, and it was a top seller on Steam.

No clue, I don’t recall the exact details. They could just be generalizing the whole year and lump it in with negative assumptions. If he or anyone was doing deep dive exposés or really looking for info instead of “oh hey, I overheard this snippet” then I could more inclined to engage

The game dropped out of no where. No clue on how they were expecting it to do. It was a great game and well received.

Not sure how much we care about on report and whether it's a concern.

What's hilarious is that this one comment from Grubb has already spawned multiple articles, Hi-Fi Rush is now trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons, and now it is posted here in this forum. Nothing garners attention like negative Xbox news.

Yeah. I didn't listen to his report. Curious of the source and why people feel this truth.

I listened to a little ....

"based on what I heard", I guess equals truth.

Then a few sentences later... "This is something I would love to ask Xbox". Then why don't you? Do some journalism.

Commentary broadcasts has grown way to thin on me (political, games, etc.). I don't tolerate it well anymore. Too many people sit around and speculate and give opinion on speculation. That's just entertainment for some and it's not based on anything.

Now I could be wrong and there's a problem somewhere, but the fact is we don't know. Just a few of those words is enough to trend.

Aaron Greenberg might be even less trustworthy than Grubb but I support his clout chasing blowing up in his face.

I don't really how they could be unhappy with it. They would have had to have some wild expectations if they were.

Doesn't matter now. Grubb got what he wanted. His video is now the centre piece of an ever expanding negativity train.

Grubbs taken a bit of a battering today.
When you have words that carry weight, best be sure you can back it up. Of course people are going to run with something like this, especially people who (for whatever reason) wants to see MS flop.
