Twitter really is the horse the end of our species rode in on.
I've been thinking it's kind of fable ish as well but I do hope fable looks better, not that this game looks bad because it doesn't but it's not amazing either, you can tell it's a multiplatform cross gen game in some ways.
Just shows how fake gaming media is with their virtue signalling.
Yep. We get why many are upset with Rowling but completely hiding from this game and the subject was a poor decision by all those sites IMO.
The people that wanted everyone to boycott also didn't help themselves(not all obviously) by going online and harassing people like they did.

How can people have respect for these pricks that go online and bully and harass people? If you behave like that people are more likely to not give a sh*t about your cause.
The only real ones are the people who went and donated what they would of spent on the game to a charity, and I bet that was a tiny percentage, swear some of these groups just exist to hate and divide.
Finally decided to buy the game, I liked the first hour a lot more than I thought I would. Haven’t been too impressed by videos and worried the game was too much story too little gameplay.
Graphics and animations are great though, and the combat is really satisfying. Planning to do a dark wizard playthrough if that’s a thing in this game.

The people going over the top are doing a performance; they really don't care as much in real life as they pretend to online. The ones that say "trans women are women" will fall apart the minute you ask them if they'd sleep with one. Trans women are trans women, that doesn't make them lesser people they are just different. These people who keep wanting to fight about this need to remember that being different doesn't mean the person is of a lesser value to society, most of us will never meet a trans person or if we do it will be few and far between, our lives don't revolve around them and most of us never think about them until someone online "yells" at us about it, that or when politicians use them as political ammo to anger their base.
That assumes they would sleep with all other women. I wouldn't sleep with an 80 year old or a crack whore or a prostitute. They are all still women, though, right?
Good that they have accessibility options but I guess most left handed controller players already used to the default setup.

Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche Software has revealed to IGN that the studio has no current plans to release additional content for their Wizarding World RPG.
Speaking during IGN Fan Fest, Hogwarts Legacy game director Alan Tew explained that the team was so busy preparing the game for its launch last week that it hasn’t yet planned on releasing any expansions.
“We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life,” said Tew, “so at the moment there are no current plans for DLC.” That’s not to say Avalanche Software won’t be supporting the game post-launch, of course, as it has already released a patch for the game that includes several performance improvements and other updates.
Hogwarts Legacy has also already received somewhat of an additional mission thanks to the PlayStation exclusive quest that takes place in Hogsmeade.
Fans will just have to wait and see if Avalanche Software announces any proper extras, but given Tew’s comments, it doesn’t look likely.

Man, this game is pretty impressive. I seem to remember people complaining about pop-in, but I'm not seeing... any. Pretty cool. Even the grass us super dense and I only notice some minor lod changes here and there.
The pop in is actually handled pretty well, a lot of games with flying have a lot more pop in than this game does. It's going to be nearly impossible to have flying in a game and not see some pop in unfortunately but a lot of things like trees etc seem to be there the entire time when flying.
So PS5 runs better.
There was a patch pushed to Xbox and PC recently wondering if that helped the performance some.
I mean, at least in Fidelity mode on xbox, I can't say I even notice it at all. Trees and grass are visible from far away and the LOD transitions are some of the smoothest out there, imo. I've really gotta look hard to notice it. The most I see are the occasional detail loading but overall it's really, really good. Haven't tried the framerate mode. I've not had any issues with performance. There are better a few looking games out there, but this one is certainly no slouch.
Didn't help on PC much. The extended FOV we get though is a welcome addition as the default on console it way too close.
I’m still surprised at how consistently fun this game is, I’m having a blast.
My theory of why it was delayed. They were worried about backlash for covering this game. But when it turned out, the backlash for the backlash was far more overwhelming, they deem it is safe to cover it.
Anyway, the locust swarm is moving on to their next field, Atom heart. It was NEVER about the "cause", it was about feeding on outrage, see "Trans activists" turn into "anti-war activists" now.

I'm still interested but at a lower price point. Good to know it's fun.
