I don't know what's going on either. I'm near the end with 70 hours playtime trying to do all of the extra stuff first.
I like the game world, visuals, gameplay, enemies and it's just fun.
It’s a great game. I dig the story actually. Got high expectations for Burning Shores. But I may wait a while before grabbing it as I just beat the main game in January. Took about 40 hours with some side stuff.

I am worried how long the campaign DLC will be if it's only $19.99. I pre-ordered it anyway. I want the bow and outfit.
I don't remember how long the Frozen Wilds was for the first game, but it seemed like it was a decent size.
I didn't play that DLC. I did hear that Ghost of Tsushima DLC was $19.99 and it was decent sized.
If it's anything like Frozen Wilds, it's perfect for $19.99.
Not sure if I'll get the DLC right away. The games coming out this year are terrible, so I need something to look forward to later.

There are around 4 games I'm actually interested in that are supposed to be released this year. 1 doesn't have an actual release date (Forza Motorsport). Another is rumored to be delayed (AC Mirage). Another one probably won't release for obvious reasons (Stalker). Maybe I will get Street Fighter 6. Everything else known to be coming out with actual release dates are of no interest to me. I'd rather replay older games enhanced for PS5 and the X before most of the new games.
Okay....MOST of the games coming out this year are terrible (for me). I don't play everything released these days just for the sake of having something new to play like I did 20 years ago.
I’m just surprised Zelda, Starfield, Redfall, Diablo, Final Fantasy, Jedi Survivor, Spiderman, Hollow Knight Silksong, Baldurs Gate .. none of those appeal to you?
Not a knock of course, everyone has their own tastes. That’s just a laundry list of gaming behemoths and 2023 is shaping up to be ridiculous.

Nope. I can't get into Fallen Order. I don't like Star Wars or sci-fi stuff anyway.
Interested in Zelda, but not if it has the same sword/shield constantly being broken nonsense. I can't get into FFXV or 7 Remake, so I probably won't give the new one a chance until its $20 or less. The rest of that list...nope. Really interested in Tekken 8 now, though.
