The Forza games have never had microtransacations and 5 looks to be the same.

Those games are still Cross gen apart from Flight Sim which isn't possible on Xbox One. MS upgrading them for free doesn't change that and it doesn't matter if the game came out before Series X/S they had the upgrades in mind when making them.

As for this. People shouldn't have had to complain to the point Sony did a U turn and ask versions they sell off the game should be eligible for the upgrade.
Gears Tactics is not a cross-gen game it came out 7 MONTHS before not a few weeks before, it was not developed with the new console in mind it had stuff added on after the fact.

Add another raytracing first party title to their lineup.

The PS5 enhancements sound great.
That's cool, we can take one off the list too since GT doesn't actually use it during gameplay, whatever DF was calling RT in the initial video they were wrong.

It was probably the cinematics that DF saw RT in the trailer since it was a mix of cinematics and gameplay.

On Horizon Zero Dawn, what are the PS5 enhancement?
In the display settings, the graphics option says unavailable. Does it output 4K (checkerboard?)/60 automatically with no other graphics options?

The first game to me felt like a world I would want to live in. Maybe throw out the killer robots, but the environment itself, that pure world not overrun with pollution, felt like a place you'd want to live. I'm sure this new game is going to take that same feeling to the next level.

I was hoping they'd add robotic sharks since they are in the Bay area, not a place known for alligators/crocodiles :)

The world has tilted/shift, probably the poles too (ever so slightly)…but at least now you don’t have to worry about human excrement on the sidewalk, cos now it’s probably just behind a bush or tall grass you’re hiding in

Not a lot of alligators or crocodiles here in Utah either, but they still made it into the last game!

WARNING SPOILERS AT THE JUMP/BLOG

The Forbidden West is vast and deadly, filled with ancient ruins, awe-inspiring machines, and hidden threats. Surrounded by danger, its human inhabitants need places to train, rest, and improve their gear. The game’s settlements form these sanctuaries, and they are just as vital to Aloy as they are to the tribes that live in them.

The living world in these settlements is a complex character of its own. Every detail establishes credibility, creating an authentic environment through visual storytelling. For example, the Nora live in relative solitude in the isolated valley of the Sacred Land, making it difficult for them to communicate with the outside world. As a result, they are less technologically advanced than other tribes, and more wary of outsiders. Their settlements are made of wood and rope, featuring minimal furnishings other than what is needed for daily life. Food and resources are obtained through hunting and gathering, so there’ll be pelts, baskets, or sheaths full of arrows lying around. All the objects and people within such a settlement feel like they belong, and more so: like they’ve always been there.

Spoiler Alert: Please note this article may contain some spoilers for Horizon Zero Dawn and its storyline.

I thought the first game was in Colorado because didn't they have the ruins of the red rocks amphitheater in there?

Yup. That's where it starts. Other parts are Utah and Arizona.

Horizon Zero Dawn is set in the states of Colorado and Utah, parts of northern Arizona and a very small part of Montana in the United States. Colorado is predominantly Nora territory. Utah is predominantly Carja territory.

The Frozen Wilds DLC added the Banuk territory, The Cut, to the HZD map. The Cut is based in the state of Wyoming in the United States, specifically in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
