Not what I said, but I stand by the remark that the more reboots/remakes and sequels keep getting supported, the less likely major studios are gonna care to support original screenplays and turn them into films when all the financial evidence points towards the current trends. Whether those things are good/bad are on the people making them, but the if more people actually cared, the more original content we'd actually see.
