I will eventually get both, but their launch exclusives for both Xbone/PS4 are lacking and I can get the best version of third party games on the PC (Titans Fall, AC4, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4).

I am undecided, but I need to think fast, as the automatic xbox live renewal is coming soon, & I do not want to pay for 2 different services. My local Gamestop have quite a good trade in deal for xbox one (they have no special deal for PS3, probably as PS3 is selling so well, or something), so that may affect my decision.
Some people my brush it off, but if the information is true that the XBOX one is about 30% or so less powerful, that will certainly affect my decision also, mostly due to not wanting to play a version with worst frame rates (like many games on PS3 this gen) or downgrade resolution.
While I like to believe the potiential of Kinect, & have spoken much for it, MS have not shown any core game that make you think kinect will be a game changer, or an expereince enhancer.
But I will decide within the next 2 weeks latest. Or maybe I just wait out, when the price drop, or have better idea after both consoles have been in the market for a while.

Ha, well, that's a relief. I was being overly optimistic, I guess, based on the early poll results.
I'm definitely going Xbox One. For one, MS are software geniuses so I know won't be disappointed with the X1 user interface. The best games are on X1 along with the cloud's dedicated servers for the BEST online experience. Also, Kinect 2 looks amazing! can't wait to try Kinect sports Rivals and Xbox fitness.Other goodies include WiFi direct technology, the snap feature, Internet explorer, Xbox music,Xbox video, silky smooth UI and so much more. Can't say it enough....I CAN'T WAIT!

-Better controller (for me). The PS controller has never been comfortable for me.
-Better online play (plus I have a lot of time left on my Live account)
-Forza 5 at launch
-Titanfall in the spring (I'm probably not upgrading my PC anytime soon)

Xbox One all the way for me. With the power of the cloud and Microsoft's vision and determination to give gamers the very best it's a sure bet to be one of if not the greatest gaming console of all time.
And look at that, it's 70-34 in favor of the One over the PS4. Over at TXB lots of people were swinging towards the PS4 after all the hate. It's good to see people have cooled off and realized that the Xbox One is going to be everything the 360 was and so much more. Can't wait!

-IMO there are only two worthwhile launch games (Shadow Fall and Forza) and I'm much more interested in Shadow Fall.
-Sony's stable of 1st and 2nd party developers are better than Microsoft's, so the future is brighter.
-I'm more interested in getting my hands on the Dual Shock 4 after reading the hands on reports.

So many votes for X1. Why? I don't see their lineup as impressive to me at all (except TitanFall and Dead Rising 3). Also, PS4 has the better architecture. What's the main appeal to the X1?
Because we are TXB in a new skin. GXD and Xbox always had more support there, aside from that period after the X1 launch, when MS was fumbling and stumbling. There was a strong backlash to that, but after MS's multiple 180's, the forum has resumed its normal shape.
I think the launch games help, too. They have a stronger lineup than Sony.
Just wondering how you could say PS4 has the better architecture? Have they talked about their architecture? or are you just referring to better specs?

I understand if you buy a console based on games. Hell, buying a PS4 based on Naughty Dog is a great reason. But to refer to some "architecture?"
Specs is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion. We'll see with the multiple platform game comparisons though. I'm willing to bet the PS4 will beat out the X1 in framerates and graphics.
I disagree actually. While TitanFall is most impressive, I can't really see any other games that trump KZ:ShadowFall, Deep Down, and some others announced that won't be on the X1. Heck, I'd much prefer Injustice to Killer Instinct. Dead Rising 3 looks promising, but so does Infamous 2.
I picked the x1 because Sony seems to be going all out for the pay-per-bullet business model and free to play games. While there will be pay-per-bullet billing on the x1, at this time it doesn't appear that Microsoft will be quite as craven as Sony in the blatant "free to play" cash grab"
Ok that makes more sense, and for exclusives probably, for multiplats I reckon they will pretty close.
