I'm going to say Scott Henson, they guy running Rare right now..who also worked on Kinect prior to his position at Rare. Then who does, Phil? I really don't think if you asked Rare they would say that they wanted to be the avatar and kinect game guys.
I don't believe him.
double helix is making KI for xb1, not rareGuys KI is being made by Rare for launch why all the hostility?
double helix is making KI for xb1, not rare
Yeah. People don't realize that for most of the time until Henson took over, RARE was still making games for Nintendo Handhelds, so Kinect can hardly be considered a step down for them. The people at RARE are an eccentric and eclectic bunch. Radagast the Brown would hardly stand out, in that crowd.People don't understand how successful Kinect Sports was for Microsoft.
5.56 Million Units for Kinect Sports 1. That is Gears of War and Uncharted type of numbers. However it gets thrown aside because it is a Kinect game.
That game was a blast, gratuitous boobage and all!A new jet force gemni would go so well with xb1.
You guys remember Perfect Dark 360, right?
This isn't the same Rare. They might have some talented people there, but it's not the same people that made most of the games we remember so well from their Nintendo fame.

RARE is involved just don't know how much.
What about viva pinataI bought every Rare game on Xbox platforms until they started making the Kinect stuff. I thought Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts were their best Xbox efforts. Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo had their moments, but as a whole I don't desire to revisit those titles. And I'm usually one to replay a game's campaign at least twice.
my kids/wife played the s*** outta that gameWhat about viva pinata
Is that a sourced fact?
They released it five years later and IMO it was awful, certainly didn't live up to the first or golden eye. We have no way of knowing what Nintendo put into it, but we know what Rare released and that is a game that might have literally killed off a series all together.
