Madden NFL 15 Impressions

I suck so bad at this game. After playing NHL 15, the field seems so utterly crowded lol.

Me too. I can't even get through the training drills very well. I can't play QB at all. I think I have more interceptions than completions. I spend most of my time just playing a single player in career mode anyway, usually a running back.

By the way, you can fix the lighting issue on PS4. Go into the options and find the lens flare option and set it to "JJ Abrams". ;)

Yoyoniner, you don't have to be such a PS4 fanboy all the time. There are games that the X1 will have the advantage on. Get over it. Madden is better on X1, if only slightly.

You don't have to personally attack me.

Let's talk objectively for a moment and forget the brands. Remember I was a 360 fan last gen. What makes you think there will be games superior on the weaker hardware in the future? A dev would have to screw up for that to happen.

I understand the eagerness to have a multiplatform game be superior on the X1 but so far there has not been a single example of that happening yet. Not one. If madden is the first game so be it but I won't take the rambling thoughts of "pasta padre" over Digital Foundry. And so far not a single person who owns both versions on neogaf or operation sports says there is any difference. And it sounds like you don't own both versions either so how do you personally know which one is better?

Before people get their panties in a bunch, I'd bet the lighting thing is a bug/oversight, and has nothing to do with the consoles. This is EA we're talking about. :)

Not true. It has been reported that Strider is a better game on the Xbox One and Thief too (even though the PS4 version is in a higher resolution -- higher res but worse textures iirc).

Both were also ::gasp!:: said to be better on digital foundry too.

Anyway, cases in which a weaker system has a better version of a game than the more powerful console happens every gen. It's not frequent but it does happen. -- Not surprising and/or shocking that it's happening this gen.

Until yesterday none of us have ever heard of "pasta padre" and I just read that article and it sounded like a bunch of rambling thoughts from one guy. "Xbox one version seems more dynamic" and "On extreme close-ups I would give the edge just barely to the PS4 but pulled back maybe to the XB1." I'm not even sure what these statements mean.

Missed this post; you didn't have to go this far. Don't let your personal ignorance speak for others -- Pastapadre is popular in the sports gaming community and (believe it or not) used to post on the old TeamXbox forums.
