Halo also didn't (and still doesn't) have ray tracing lol. Spider-Man didn't have dynamic time of day, I wouldn't be surprised if this one doesn't either. The sun moving like that is obviously a bug, a funny one too lol.
Talking console not PC, RT was promised at a later date for console and still hasn't come. We were also talking about the Halo infinite debut trailer which wasn't MP.The MP of Halo Infinite has ray traced sun shadows on PC. So you're technically wrong.
It did have a day/night cycle and Spider-Man didn't.I think halo has real time day/night cycle, clouds even effect onto the world.
I forget what it’s like in fh5 but I remember in fh4 the shadows were like second hand of a ticking clock
The campaign has virtually no story lol it was clearly cut to the bone just to get it out the door. Having what was basically a horde mode for your last level was terrible. It's a shame because the game felt great to play but they didn't build a good story to go along with it or any kind of variety in the environment, the "open world" was pointless since everything looks the same.Don't know what campaign I played from start to finish then.
This looks rough in areas. They could very well have it all fixed but like Halo this was shown in a very controlled environment and it still showed its issues.

Spider-Man will probably have most of the issues fixed, I'm sure there will still be pop in I doubt that'll ever be eliminated from any game, especially games that let you fly or do something similar. Look how bad the pop in was with Halo when flying slowly with the air vehicles, Spider-Man 2 has more things on screen and far less pop in while moving much more quickly.
Yeah, I'm not going to nit pick this game. Enjoy it for what it is and enjoy the ride.
Yeah, those flats for the splashes looked so dated, but the cool small detail was the closeup near the end and you could see the edges of his suits white eyes had taken the shape of venoms ever so slightly.Yeah the game looks awesome for an open world. The only improvement I would suggest is the water effects.
Yikes bullshots
Nope. First one has the same photo mode. But I can see why you would say that. First one already pushing borders
Nope. That isn’t real-time gameplay where you control the character.
We already saw in the trailer demo real time gameplay.
Here is also gameplay in the original. The second one will be a guaranteed improvement over an already amazing looking first one as per DF's analysis. Still one of the best looking open world and superhero games out ever.
Maybe, but there’s no puddles, so might be real???Yikes bullshots
It’s not bad. But don’t let them fool you with their non gamer controlled gameplay bullshots.
We have all seen every video. Even us at Gaf can see this.
But those pics aren’t game play. And I have played the previous games as well.I have played both it and Miles. The game looks phenomenal.
In photo mode, the game looks even better.
