well well a simple google search to see what others who actually played the games were saying brings up this....

Ima trust what I noticed and what a professional website says over a few pc trolls.

This is there findings as of 02/10/2014

That graph is confusing. There is no way Arma 3 has a higher FPS than TR, Metro and BF4. Arma 3 is the only game that really kills my PC.

The PC they used is comparable to yours is it not?

It's really close in fact. I don't understand it though. I am uploading a video that I just made for Far Cry 3. 60 FPS consistent, according to EVGA's Precision.

Anywayz they say BF4 followed by my choice for the most demanding Metro LL.
BF4 runs better on my rig then Metro LL.

Yah I just read the info on that. They increased scaling to %200 for BF4. That's insane. Of course, the FPS would fall in the teens.

Awesome news. 2033 and Last light are awesome.

As for demanding, the metro series is easily one of the most demanding series. Will be interesting to see how next-gen handle them.

You do realize that they used 4xSSAA on Metro right? Obviously that makes the game much more demanding, if you don't run that high of SSAA and the game maxed out it is very easy to run. SSAA is by far the most demanding type of AA and alot of those other games don't even have that option so that whole list is invalid.

"TressFX would be the reason behind its super low frame rate, as we barely were able to scrape together 24.8 FPS. We looked at the game’s settings to find that it uses Super Sampling just like The Witcher 2 which made our GPU work extra hard to render the game at 4K to have it then downscaled to 1920x1080."

If they can only run it 24.8 with those setting then their PC testing rig is not all that great, I run those same exact settings at over 60fps.

Nice, I might have to pick up LL now. I've rented it a couple times last gen, now I might finally be able to finish it.

I'd get this if it was a reduced price. I played the first Metro game & liked it, but I got it for cheap. If this was lower than standard price, I'd definitely pick it up.

And will still look inferior to PC version.

Not on my PC, it's five years old and slow even then. (and that goes for a lot of PC's out there; old and VERY slow. )

And how about apple and linux pc's - will it look inferior there too? Inferior to what I ask??

The Metro games are only demanding when you up the AA. The 4A engine that it runs on isn't particularly adept when implementing it.
I'm guessing the PS4 and Xb1 will run Last Light around a mix of medium/high settings. I think the recommended GPU for LL is like a gtx 660/ti or something like that. Still haven't played LL on my rig yet...(played 2033 on my rig with a gtx 780 not long ago and it ran at least 60fps with everything maxed except AA). Pretty sure that anything above a 760 would max that game minus AA. Consoles are another story though LOL.

Lets argue how PC always looks better as if it weren't breaking news already.
