MGS: Ground Zeros 1080p PS4, 720p X1, sub 720 PS3/360

Comparisons would be more meaningful if this game wasn't just an overpriced demo for Metal Gear Solid V.

Well a games worth is a matter of opinion, I've been getting my $30 worth for this prolouge of Phantom Pain. I mean activision charges $60 every year for basically the same game.

I think the real concern will be when MGS V: Phantom Pain comes out and it's the same deal. I would hope by then the developers will have figured it out though. I don't see any reason why multiplats can't be on par this gen. If last gen is anything to go by though look out.

The PS4 is obviously slightly more powerful and developer friendly at this point. That should change in the future once the cloud and DX12 is unleashed for the X1 but until then.. Still, i don't see how there could be a difference such as 1080p and 72op. Xbox One should be able to do 900p with ease if not 1080p.

Well since MGS4 never came out on the 360 and since 5 is being released for the Xbox One maybe Konami will rerelease part 4, that way everyone who missed out on 4 last gen can play it.

I thought the reason why MGS 4 never came to the 360 was because Kojima was really stubborn about it. Obviously, we saw him smiling on Microsoft's stage after just stabbing Sony in the back and showing MGS V running on the Xbox One at E3 but.. I'd be surprised if we ever saw MGS 4 on an Xbox console at this point. I mean, it only took them 5 years or whatever to add trophy support to the game. I don't think they care. Who knows though!

Yeah but I'm sure a lot of it had to be that MGS4 took up nearly the whole 50GB bluray that it was on, so even if they wanted to release for the 360 it would have been like 6 DVDs lol. With XB1 having a Bluray drive they should be able to port it over pretty easily.

I really do hope Kojima gets it done right. And yeah, I personally think 900p for X1 and 1080p for PS4 should be the targets.

Seriously?! The 4:00 Mark? LOL. You guys are flat out crazy with this resolution thing. Sony gamers play numbers. XBO gamers actually play games. That's my take on things anyway. The petty reasons some will go to downplay one version versus another. Lol. Seriously!? Is it not the same game? I dunno. I guess I'll never understand it. Both looked great with equal amount of bells and whistles. I'm not a MGS fan either way but I wouldn't knock anyone for buying either version. That's just me...

Yeah, seriously. You can't tell the difference? Well, I guess if you don't have a PS4 to compare, then it'll look good regardless. For multiconsole owners though, PS4 is clearly better and that's not a knock on the Xbox One (still looks good) but it is what it is. It seems the only people taking the resolution thing too seriously are xbox fans like yourself since I'm pretty sure most people are saying both are great versions of the game but you like to take it one step further and imply that people are making a "big" deal out of this when it seems you're the source of that problem. Just my opinion.

So can anyone tell me if the game is "that much better" because its in 1080p on the 4, versus 720p on the XBO? Or is it the same experience, regardless?

Its the same experience on XBOX ONE; PS4, 360, PS3. Differences are resolutions, FPS, & sharper textures on next gen.

If you do not care about resolution, fps, or visuals for that matter, you are welcome, & in fact better off playing it on 360 or PS3, as they are cheaper. ;)
