Here's the game running on a low spec PC and on low settings. This is more impressive than anything. The NYC area has always been a framerate killer too and all those buildings still look amazing at low detail.

can you believe how good this game looks on even a micro level? even the window sills are modeled? and GRASS! damn. This is the best LOD and asset management I've ever seen. I really hope they apply these lessons to other games.

It is amazing what they've done with visuals and performance combined. None of us have played it yet, but obviously there's tons of Youtubers out there with it and it has been super consistent.

In the past, FS at launch would crawl at the best spec PC available and crush older rigs. FSX still runs like hot garbage no matter how much hardware you throw at it.

It isn't like it is some narrow corridor FPS game either.

I think I've been playing this since 1988? Not sure if I played any versions before this, but I remember the little mini- WW1 sim in there.

^^More proof Microsoft dropped the ball on this title as a showcase Series X title. Honestly the best looking game I've seen.

To be fair I don't think they have anything close to running on a console. They don't even have a date yet and I wouldn't expect anything this year unless they have something they are working on in total secret. Considering they have given regular PC updates that seems unlikely.

First time In a long time that I've said "WOW" at a game. This is TRULY a "next gen" title.

I have it loaded on my system and my girls....however it doesn't seem it like it actually preloaded yet as the file size is .98 GB.

Remember when people were making fun of the cloud when MS was saying it would create truly next gen experiences? It took a long time but here that "cloud experience" is.

I was watching all the keyboard commands required to use this. OMG. Ain't nobody got time for that. I will gladly wait for the XSX version so I can use my 4 button controller.

A good programmable joystick is a must. Then you can map everything you need to the buttons.

Plus, depending on what you're flying you won't need most of the commands. I'm going to spend most of my time in the smaller general aviation planes.

Keep an eye out for good amazon sales.
