Actually that and it is pretty challenging keeping a modern plane up in the air. That said very relaxing and gives you a sense of awe and wonder. The world is your oyster and this is the most complete representation/photo realistic version I have ever seen.

This is freaking beautiful. MS would be wise to put a bid in to Asobo Studio right now. But knowing them, they won't and some other publisher will work something out with them. They've made 2 back to back hits in different genres showing their skill and competency. MS has bought out less talented studios that have done worse. (Compulsion Games)

Agreed. It should also be front and center for the Series X. This is fully a next gen game in every scope. Even if they don't have any Series X code running the game they should approximate and give some footage running on identical PC spec.

If I was Phil I'd have this game as my showcase Series X title, and then buy Asobo.

Plug in your Xbox Controller. I fly with a joystick but I plugged my One X controller just for the hell of it. With all the assists it is pretty simple. You still have to use elements of the mouse and keyboard though.

Also can't stress this enough. The SOUNDS are unbelievable as well. Play this with a headset or a good pair of speakers. You will NOT be disappointed.

If my boss saw me with a controller at my WORK desk, I would be foooooked. :) If he saw me installing a game at my desk, I would be fooooooooooked. So..shhhhhhh :)

Microsoft Flight Simulator

  • Known Issue: Some users seeing a "Please insert the Microsoft Flight Simulator disc" error when launching the game on Windows 10.
  • Workaround: In order to play the game digitally on Windows 10, you will need to have the Digital Ownership File installed as it is required to grant the necessary permissions to play. If you already have this file installed and are running in to this error, please uninstall and reinstall this file only and this should resolve the issue. There is no need to uninstall the entire 127+GB base game files. Uninstalling this small 10MB file is all that will be needed.

Scratching my head on that one. I bought it off of Steam because the MS Store sucks. See if you can get a refund and then buy it on Steam. I have NO idea why you would be getting that message.

I know that the installer can hang and that has been an issue, as even I experienced it. I just ALT+F4 to close and start again and the game launched and started downloading. I would close out of everything and try again to launch the game. If that doesn't work after a few tries look at getting a refund.

Are you downloading it on a work PC or your personal PC? Crazy question but could be your issue if it isn't your own PC.

This isn't my PC, no. It's my work PC. But it's just a PC that I bought from HP.com 2 years ago and it's all my setup and my user names and everything. It's not related to anything work wise or even on the work network.

Yeah. I don't know. Sounds like a DRM issue as that Digital Ownership is related to DRM. I would try to contact Microsoft directly.
