Gee whiz, and I'm guessing it needs to be on the internal drive?
It is hard to tell how big it will be. On pC it started out around 150GB but they did update it and shrank that size to roughly half. There is also a pic showing the size on Xbox being 92GB. I

I think it will come in under 100GB on XSX.

I wonder if that really matters, I have fh4 running off the external whilst it’s dlc is on the internal. Got many games running like that or vice versa, had no issues or hiccups.
I think it will have to be internal. Going to need that SSD speed.

Yea that's true, I've had a few optimized for SeriesX games on the external and they've run fine, I guess maybe they have to be a true next gen game to run on the internal only.

Think any XS game needs to be on the internal or the official storage card to have the true next gen upgrades? If you are running it off another external HD you are just getting slight improvementsl

Isn’t the external just a proprietary nvme ssd?
You mean the official xbox 1 TB. Storage expansion. That isn't an external drive, it is internal. An external drive would be one plugged in via USB, this is what I thought you were talking about.

How is the pre-load not live for this with only a week to go until launch?

Heads up the MS Flight Sim preload is up at 97GB however I noticed if you manage the game it looks like you can take 55GB off the download by removing the “World - offline mode” add on thing. I think if you do that it’ll just stream the data.
