Have Minecraft on Xbox 360, think I will wait and maybe pick up when is cheaper, a cross platform buy would have been great like with the Diablo 3 ultimate evil edition.

Did the ps4 version get the free theme worlds as well?

Since don`t have Xbox One and got a Ps4 I will wait for ps4 version to become cheap.
Upgrade from Xbox 360 to Ps4 version is not possible after what I read.

Ah. Yeah. That does suck. The price reduction is there automatically so if you check psn you'll know for sure.
 
The interface is the same but there is little difference on animation.

Also its starting to feel just like the old Xbox 360 again which is awesome!

I mean I love my games!

Just downloaded the definitive version of Minecraft, Xbox One Edition for $4.99.

Go to the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft then "Play Game", then press "Y" to export to Xbox One.
 
Got it downloaded before I went to work this morning. Didn't have time to play though.

This may quite possibly be the best $5 I've spent in my entire life. EVER.

Your 360 game will have an update as of today. Go into the game menu where you can load your world. In there you will see an option to export your saved game. Hit the button for that and you should see an upload bar push your game save to the cloud service. You can only upload one save at a time, if you have multiple worlds.

After your game save has uploaded go to your x1 menu and you see the option to retrieve a saves game. Select that. It will then download your old save. On top of that, it also converts your old world to bring it up to date for the x1, so you get all the nice bumps as well.
 
I know it's still very early and a lot of us haven't gotten to play yet, but......

Anyone know of any really good seeds?

Yeah Its huge now like the PC version I suppose, Theres a lot of water on my new random world so I built a boat and scouted the area/world and saw all kinds of new things I hadn't in the 360 version.
 
To confirm, games imported from 360 do NOT have 36x bigger worlds, they're the same size as they were on 360.
 
I played this so much yesterday. You know what freaked me out, walking back with like 100 Iron ore and two creepers fall down atop of me from a waterfall. I was so scared :(
 
I know this game isn't graphics focused but I'd like to see the higher res texture packs come to the XBOX1 like they have on PC.
I tried the 32 and 64 bit on PC and it does make the game more enjoyable imo.

No. They are. My imported games are 36 times in size. The size is applied if your world has not been fully discovered.
